Undoubtedly the player's agent agitating for a new contract. TBF he's been a brilliant servant to the club and stuck with it through some tough times. He's proven he's able to play at Prem level and as it is likely to be his final big contract, he and his agent are looking to maximise it.

If a player gets a one last big pay day that's up to him and his agent. Sometimes we let our heart rule our heads . Past players we kept and season after could not hack it or players move and did bugger all. Its a tough one to be CW

Expect a lot more of this over the summer. Sheffield United are the lowest payers in the premiership and unless they renegotiate a lot of contracts the vultures will be swooping with big money offers after their performances this season.

I work with his dad. There's no way he'll go to Newcastle.

If we sell Basham I’m supporting whoever he moves to. I’m a bit like Ball_Sup (Phil) when it comes to football with his ‘not football without the fans’ argument. I’m at a point where my affinity is with watching Chris Basham and not the team anymore. I’m a 35 year old married man but Bash, Enda and Baldock are 3 players that I am in love with but not in a gay way.

We all know how irritated Wilder can get over being agitated by agents wanting moar muney, and he seemed a little like that after the game yesterday in the RS interview.

Pay him what he wants, for as long as he wants. He's United royalty.
