What's the state of play in the evenings now? Got back to car after the Leeds match and there was no coverage on, just some random night show... Probably a blessing.

Unpopular opinion - I actually don't mind Staton. There's worse out there on local radio.

Back to the pig fest!

Thought that might be the case. I’ve given up, I raised my concerns several times on here only to get shouted down by a couple of knobs who called me a stalker and told me I was obsessed. Obsessed? No. Thoroughly pissed off by what was once a brilliant show is becoming - absolutely. So yes Piss mi pants Pete, & Degenerate Jaffo that was my only agenda. Raising concerns as to where this show was/is being taken by one particular presenter. The funny thing is I don’t think he’s that bad. If he kept the lid on his immature, condescending attitude which he’s inflicted on numerous callers over the years (some admittedly deserved) but most of all managed to restrain his pig agenda to at least one in every 3 or 4 shows he might actually be quite good but he just can’t seem to help himself. As has been said before he baits up the sim early doors and just keeps flicking a handful of floating casters out over the top and before you know it he has a swim full of pigs

He was on the previous night slagging off Wednesday again.

He was throwing pretty of petrol onto the fire bringing up reports that apparently Röhl has agreed to leave Wednesday and going to Southampton.
He said he knows the reported down in Southampton who released this news story and said he was a reliable source.

Then Staton spent a good 5 minutes slagging off Wednesday calling them a joke club that has no prospects.
He defended Rohl wanting to leave SWFC and said that any manager with ambition would prefer to be at Southampton than at Wednesday.

Any neutral would think Staton was a Blade the way he always praises United and Wilder.
He does praise Rohl but regularly criticises Sheffield Wednesday and even mentions the poor atmosphere at Hillsboro too.

Good for him!

I'm listening to it now. Biggs didn't even try to hide any sort of bias in his "monologue". Numerous times he said "unfortunately" when talking about areas that we're ahead of Wednesday, and as you mentioned, couldn't wait to fluff up Attendance FC by banging on about how their attendances are actually better than ours despite being worse?! Ignoring the fact Hillsborough is half empty and they are very creative with the season ticket holders that are definitely there

For a show that I would always tune in to and enjoy I now have to avoid when he’s on which pisses me off. If you’ve seen recent comments from elsewhere it isn’t just me that thinks this.

It's just a banal, little local radio phone-in. It's not worth getting het up over.

It was old hat 15 years ago.

I used to like Paul Walker back in the Warnock days but I've never really had much of an opinion on any of the other presenters.

They're okay, I suppose.

To be honest I rarely listen to it anymore but when I have it seems pretty fair to me. They just talk about any old shit that is currently going on, even if it's Donny, Rotherham or Chesterfield.

I don't think it's biased.
