We rode our luck though again. And rovers easily could have scored more than 1,2 or even 3.

We didn't control the game enough again hence them having the attacks and chances.

Chuffed with the win and the 3 points. We desperately need to keep picking wins up just to make absolutely sure we do not get sucked into a battle at the wrong end of the table

Our performances so far do not match our points total or league position though.

We were arguably fortunate to beat Bolton.

Tonight we surrendered some big chances. 22 minutes into the second half it was 131 accurate passes to 19. We were shocking for large parts of that game.

On the positive side it was the best performance of the season for both Sydie and Ollie.

This season is a relegation battle make no mistake.

Made the point on Saturday that it’s vital we get results against those likely to be in and around us at the bottom.

Blackburn fall in to that category so I’m happy and thought we looked good 2nd half and enjoyed watching.

Wolves Saturday is a match I expect us to lose heavily.

The bar is quite low but I did enjoy it a little bit. Lively game. Plenty of positives. Saw it out superbly. I missed the first 25 mins which I heard we were terrible.

We have some good players but, to me we are still not playing as a team. Our passing and defending are shocking. Just hope we gel soon but, 9 points from 6 games against 0 points last year is a billy bonus!!!

If we are going to win games this season without any creative players it’s going to be games like tonight and last week against Bolton, scrap it out and ride our luck ..it’s not going to be pretty to watch but staying up is all that matters
