Couple of Questions

1) Anyone know when Tickets go on Sale?
2) With W******* at home on same date and time which match will be moved?

Thanks in advance

I'd imagine they will move us based on the pigs all round massiveness and also Brighton can't handle games on Saturdays

Pigs game will be moved. If they move ours it would have to be to the Friday night as both us and Brighton have games the following Tuesday, (30th Jan) Brighton away at Luton and us away at Palace....plus Brighton have a home game v Wolves on Monday 22nd. Pigs and Cov don't have a game until the following Saturday, 3rd Feb.

As neither have been selected for TV I suspect ours will be 3pm Saturday and the Pigs v Cov game moved to the Sunday.

I don't know why it takes so long to be quite honest. It seems most pragmatic for our game to be on the Saturday - we have a game the Tuesday following, which if the cup game is on Saturday, would not need to be moved (Championship have no games either weekday either side) and Brighton is further than Coventry, so again less travel disruption.

It was similar for the semi-final last year - took ages for them to confirm, despite it being very obvious our game would be the Saturday, due to Man Utd playing on the Thursday night.

It must be a nightmare for PL, FA , EFL dealing with South Yorkshire Police when trying to schedule games. I honestly feel at times they’d rather all games be played behind closed doors to avoid any hassle!

Some of the KO times / schedules over the years for all local clubs have been ridiculous.

The FA should just tell the pigs that Sheffield United are in the Premier League and therefore take priority for the Saturday 3pm kick off game.
They'll love that.

At one time both games would have been played on Saturday but SYP can't manage to police two games in one day any more. 😡
we seem to have quite a lot of trouble when playing Coventry well recently anyway so if United,Wednesday and Coventry hooligans are in close proximity to each other it could be carnage and if SYP agreed to let United and 🐖 play at home on same day and it kicked off everyone would be "SYP are a disgrace" blah blah blah

we have some kind of agreement with pigs to alternate who has to change the time or date for a match(cup) don't know who's turn it is to have the original time and date.
Television could scupper all that as that takes priority.Pigs definitely won't be on tele but it is possible we are.

Not doubting you mate but have we really had a lot of trouble against Coventry? I don’t recall it.

Carnage these days usually means no more than a quick scuffle at the very worst and should be easily policed by SYP.

No idea how the Met manage when there are often 6-7 games in London on the same day.

They already announced the TV fixtures, and no, we're not on

Spurs v Man City is the live Friday night game, so us on Saturday and the piggies on Sunday is surely the sensible option.

I know this has been asked before but, as a ST holder would I be able to buy two extra tickets for this match for others who are not in the ticket data base and have no purchase history ?

Not so sure about this coventry v blades thing !
Yes I know the first game of the season I think 2001 , every blades nutter in the early turned up at the old Highfield Road stadium . I've never seen such a huge mob of blades. The city centre in Coventry was completely taken over by blades .
The police escort to the ground was about a mile long of angry blades. When blades arrived at the ground they ran coventry allover the side streets . Its the 1st time I've seen coppers use pepper spray .
After the game 90% of a huge blades mob then went on to smash my city up derby
The Neptune and collisium pubs got trashed.
6 000 blades went to cov that day .
Living down hear I hear many stories and blades rakibg coventry over woke there young lot up.
It's not that they've got owt against blades they've just got a new young lot hell vent on trouble v most teams.
Go on you tube watch them attack derby fans after the game, watch them attached Sunderland fans in the car park .
Watch them at Middlesbrough they proper went for it .
There just trying to build a name like Birmingham zulus in the 80s , like 657 pompey etc etc .
Coventry have decent away support so always going to be a bit of trouble but they do not regard the blades as rivals .
They've played and best there rivals today Leicester 3-1
