Do we actually have any assets left that might generate some more funds to spend on incomings? o_O

We only generate funds with wage savings these days, not transfer fees. Not now Che's gone anyway.

Apparently Burton are paying Brayford's wage in full so that should help a lot.

Woolford's finally fucked off.

Can't see many of the other undesirables moving on. Maybe Done will go. I'd try to sell Scougall.

Unfortunately, we haven't got the time/money to spend/waste on potential.

Guardiola at City has told Hart he can go, no wasting time, no ifs/buts. He's said that City
don't have time to keep players who don't fit into the new ethos...

In a way, Wilder is adopting a similar practice albeit on a pauper's finances comparative.

It's a rum do..but HEY, Burton got promoted on a wage budget of £2.5m....that's the goal I guess...

Prince : Kev, tell the new face, that's we expect.
Kev : Exactly Prince. If Clough can do it on £2.5m, so can what's his name.
Prince : Speak soon Kev, just out to watch today's public execution.
Kev : Hold on Prince, We haven't sacked the kid just yet, have we?

This is pure fabrication and for any twitter tourists, it's NOT true.
No rumours were hurt in the making of this nonsense.

Would we be able to sign him straight after he turns 24 in October? Or would we have to wait until the transfer window opens in January?

As deadline day draws closer, you'd think Wednesday will be more open to lowering their demands, or else face getting nothing in October. I think we'll see some sort of negotiation before then. My guess would be an agreed fee somewhere in the region of £200k.

Yep, that's the plan. They did the same after Yeovil went up. That went well.

Expected to join next week

"Bramall Lane last night revealed they expect Lavery, a former Northern Ireland under-21 international, to officially join Chris Wilder’s team next week"

sorry struggling to post a link from my phone

We all know that like tomorrow next week never comes

He's deleted that he plays for Sheffield Wednesday on his twitter page. Got a feeling this one will actually happen. Mad I know

But if he does, he will be signing for us, and it's a sad day, but you have to admit, we're really shit right now!!

He cant be that good if that blue and white vermin are getting shut

A Wednesday mate of mine actually rates Lavery and reckons he will do well for us. (He thinks Clarke is a lazy useless cunt) Pompey fans want him back especially if they managed to get McNulty back as well.

Maybe that is Wilders other attacking option to get Lavery and McNuts partnered together upfront? Plus Lavery can play as a left winger.

It could be a very shrewd signing if it happens.

I've heard the same from a piggy mate of mine.
Of all the lackluster rumors that are flying around I hope this one comes off the most.

Don't care where he comes from as long as he's better than what we've got.

But yeah, if McCabe wants a sadder barometer of how far we've fallen....

It's quite pathetic isn't it - haggling over what's probably about 50k for three weeks with our rivals for a player they don't need.

Wednesday must fucking pity us.

McCabe should be proud.
