Is it worth mentioning that, because of our name and stature as a club, many teams are buoyed by the chance to take a blades scalp.
By the same token, very few Championship managers will look forward to facing us right now.

Would disagree about offering McBurnie or Norwood another contract
The reason is, both players are worth more to us than they are to other clubs.

Even if both are out of contract, can't see any PL clubs offering either a contract.
However can see plenty of Championship clubs being interested
but if we're a PL club then we can blow other Championship clubs out of the water regards salaries.

I wouldn't offer any player a contract until we know our finances.

Apart from, the only player we need to tie down to a contract is N'Diaye because there's a good chance other PL clubs will become very interested in him.
As he's close to being out of contract, we might offer him £30K a week but his agent might say he can let his contract run down because he'll get £70K elsewhere.

Afternoon all, sorry for the delay for those who wanted the pod out sooner - as Roygbiv says, we were hoping there'd be a bit more news around embargo / takeover by this point of the week.

However, we could only wait so long, so here's the latest episode - we discuss the embargo news so far, and react to the Hull game including Jebbison finding the net again, Jack Robinson throwing a man through the surface of the Earth, McBurnie on the windup, and the stolen scarf saga. Plus, a look ahead to Wrexham.
