I think it's clear we're going to flat track bully around 2/3 of this league thanks to our defence

Enough for a comfortable top 4 finish. Top 2 depends on attacking additions in January. But at least Campbell is contributing now. He should help get us to January in a good position

We're in a pleasing situation for next week now, with everyone fresh and available to start. We'll be full strength.... unless he starts OHare, at least

Moores been isolated all season,put a decent player up with him and see a difference in a solid forward line. Can’t fault Moore in my mind but many do.

It’s draining isn’t it? When we’re winning the match thread is 5 pages long - if we’re losing it’s like War and Peace. I swear some people get no enjoyment from football unless there’s something to moan about. It used to be when you had the misfortune of sitting near some armchair ‘expert’ droning in on at the Lane, the internet has given them another outlet.
I don’t get how anyone can criticise today’s performance- it’s been a walk in the park and we’ve not even had to get out of 3rd gear.
I said in pre-season we’ll be top 6 all season and I’m confident we’ll be pushing for top 2 without problem.

Agree that top 4 looks a certainty.

People say we've not looked great this season and don't look a top 2 side, which is true
BUT our defence has been consistently solid just about every match.

At this rate we can beat 66% of this league home and away by 1-0 or 2-0 and if we do that we have a great chance of top 2.
Even when we have off days....we will still win loads of matches 1-0.

Keiffer Moore man of the match today.

Agree....he's a contender based on the 2nd half.

Taking into account both halves for me the man of the match is
1st Vini Souza...excellent in both halves....he's putting Arblaster in the shadow.
2nd Rak Sakyi...our only threat in the 1st half....exciting, unpredictable, inconsistent but at least he's positive, he gives you a chance to create a goal.
3rd Moore....worked so hard...done the dirty work....and shown some good link play with Campbell in the 2nd half.

However the defence deserves massive praise, as a unit they've again looked rock solid. Both fullbacks Burrows and Gilchriest were superb.
We've made a Blackburn team with a great home record look so poor, their crowd has had nothing to cheer.

Gueye could have been given a red. I’m sure VAR would have seen a leading arm/elbow with little intent to get the ball.

Not seen the replay from the front but you wonder if the keeper handled just then.

1st Vini Souza...excellent in both halves....

He absolutely dominates games at this level. Demonstrates the size of the gap to the PL.

Magnificent performance against a decent team. Apart from it getting a bit scrappy at the end we controlled the game from back to front and despite them having decent possession they did nothing with it. Defence solid again even with Anel out and the likes of Souza, Soutta and Burrows were outstanding again.

Didn't expect such an easy win. Even at 1-0 up we looked comfortable.
Don't think we were great but we made Blackburn look so poor, so we must be doing something right.

My 7 year old Grandson thought Campbell was called Chinese Campbell , now every time he’s mentioned in the comentry it does sound like “Chinese Campbell”. Think it’s gonna stick.

I think the issue is with the gears, we only have 1!
don’t get me wrong that gear is enough to beat most teams in this division but isn’t enough for top 2 in my opinion.
