Seeing Eustace chewing his gum it looks like he’s overdone the ‘phet today.
 

Wow.

First chance for Blackburn....a bit lucky with a deflection from a cross straight to the Blackburn player.

He ghosted in on the back post.....a tap in from close range with the goalie out of position
but at the last second their player takes his eye off the ball and failed to even make contact.
Big let off that, should have been 1-1.

Blackburn had more attacks but Cooper hasn't had a single save to make yet, don't think he's even touched the ball.
Overall it's still looking good for us and we still look comfortable, still 1-0 up.

O’Hare as well. Just loses it in key areas. It’s all very unnecessary.

Brewster not done much either apart from draw fouls.

Always tempting to not change much but you could take O’Hare and Brewster off any time and give Brooks and Hamer a chance to do far better.
 
Apart from the goal cannot say we've been dominant.

Losing the midfield and Arblaster having a nightmare game... the amount of times Souza has had to bail him out is unbelievable.

Would actually consider subbing Arblaster and putting Hamer in central midfield

Ref gives a yellow card about 4 instances after he should have booked one of their thugs

Apart from that, really enjoyable 🤣
 
Most of the first half Brewster wandering around the middle of the park never picking up a player. He’s also caught the Norwood syndrome of pointing. Pick up the player stop just drifting from side to side

Good watch this.

Souza outstanding in the first half.

Defence as good as ever.

They aren’t as good as I thought they were.

JRS doing well but needs a better final ball/shot

Arblaster has been really poor. Brewster and O’Hare offer little.

Good strike from Burrows.
 
Relatively happy with that first half. Looked threatening while limiting Blackburn as much as possible. Rak-Sakyi looking brilliant so far too.

JLT done well having not played for a while. Shame about the yellow card, but I think we can manage that through the 2nd half.

Need more contribution down the left from whoever is meant to be in front of Burrows. He's done great for the goal, but he shouldn't be having to do everything down that flank. Needs more support so we can push forward down that side more. We'll probably see Hamer come on down that side 2nd half - hopefully he will contribute a bit more l.
 
Weird performance today, just don't quite seem to be able to get it together so to speak. I think if we keep this up Blackburn will get a spozzy goal.

Not having a go, we won't be amazing every week but for me it's now down to Wilder to acknowledge maybe things aren't quite gelling today so make a couple half time changes to see if we can tighten it up a bit and seal the 3 points.

I'm genuinely so fucked off for Brewster. The lad just can not catch a break at this club, he's not having a good game today and that's fine, it happens, but the more games he goes without netting feels like he puts more and more pressure on himself to break the obvious curse on him.
 
Mixed half. Both teams wasteful in the last 3rd and giving the ball away too easily. Not sure what Brewster is giving us. Where is he actually playing? Seems to be in midfield and O'Hare is further forward. You can see O'Hare is trying but not quite working. We need to get a grip on midfield. The game is too scrappy. Robbo lacking match fitness and on a card is worrying.

He just started his first game a few days ago after being completely unfit for the start of the season. Why must people immediately assume the reason is their agenda against the manager rather than the obvious?

Feel a bit sorry for him as its not obvious what position he's playing. He's a striker but we seem to be trying to shoehorn him into some kind of number 10 or advanced midfield player

However, how incredible would it be to see him get a hat trick next Sunday in some weird miraculous series if events.

That would be the best 20m we ever spent 🤣
