I think your backs wet as well as hisI remember meeting you, how are you now with your back?
Such a shame you didn't get the compensation, that sounds unfair.
In the aforementioned Park.Numerous pitch invasions and IIRC, 12 Santas wading in on that side terrace.
We had to not lose something like 7-0 and at that time you only had one substitute, so Basset named a keeper.
As you say, mayhem inside and out. That park in the neighbourhood was a right battleground.
AyeOnly been once and the Greggs was really shit
I went for other reasons. I genuinely can’t remember any detail at all about the trip, except that everything we got from Gregg’s was cold. Not luke warm or air temperature. Actual like-they-did-it-on-purpose coldAye
Albeit I’m not convinced of the need to travel 170 miles in order to conclude that Gregg’s is shit ?
I have similar concerns about them. Can play football when they have to, but seem to save those games for us.Bristol City have just felt like the ultimate bogey club over the last few years. Particularly an evening match in December when we were flying and we threw away a lead to a team playing in that awful purple and green kit. Hopefully we break the trend next week!
Primero amigoFirst.
Devil's bump. I saw a police horse knock some one over in the park right after the game. If that was you, it sent you flying, I always wondered who it was.In the aforementioned Park.
Was being chased by a policeman, with a snarling alsatian snapping at my heels.
Right up to the point, Where a galloping police horse, bulldozed into me and knocked me out! . . Twat.
First problem is your constant use of the bollocks ‘one team in Bristol’ crap line. There are two teams in Bristol. We get that you hate Rovers but it doesn’t stop them existing.Hello from a Bristol City fan
Ahead of our forthcoming game I’m putting together the opening post for our forum’s (One Team in Bristol, https://www.otib.co.uk/?_fromLogin=1) match thread, which will be posted the day before the match.
I would like to include some perspectives from your fans so if anybody would like to share info please do, anything would be appreciated, fans thoughts about the game, players who have represented both clubs, tales from when we’ve met previously, a fans view on your season, etc.
Look forward to receiving info and to a great game.
What was his name? Some cracking gay bars in Bristol, went home with a lovely lass one night so I did.
What was his name?
Go on lad you fucking tell em.I hate Bristol City.
I have hated them since I was 10 years old and they relegated us in a play off game in 1988 and decided there and then that I hated Bristol City, and I’m impressed that 36 years later that I’ve managed to hold on to the wonderfully irrational bitterness.
Hope this helps
Colston inflicted a similar level of cruelty on humanity in his time as Hitler or Netanyahu did in theirs. And now these statues have gone, how's anybody's life changed?
Aye, Proper sent me flying. . . Hit me like a freakin freight train. Another Blade I knew got hit as well (second name begins with S)Devil's bump. I saw a police horse knock some one over in the park right after the game. If that was you, it sent you flying, I always wondered who it was.
Not sure colston and Hitler should be put in the same bracket, wasn't aware colston tried to wipe out specific races of people mainly in gas chambers .yes he had a hand in the slave trade as did many Africans but the comparison is ridiculous.Colston inflicted a similar level of cruelty on humanity in his time as Hitler or Netanyahu did in theirs.
Not sure I'd want to see a statue of either of those two on my way to work each day![]()
I've lived in both Bristol and Hove for long periods of time. Both fantastic places.Whisper it quietly, I quite like Brighton / Hove area as well.
Agreed...Hitler would top a league table of murderous bastards, you're right. Not sure colston and Hitler should be put in the same bracket, wasn't aware colston tried to wipe out specific races of people mainly in gas chambers .yes he had a hand in the slave trade as did many Africans but the comparison is ridiculous.
