Took the piss by singing 'sausage sausage rohl' because it was so daft it was funny. But most folks thought with limited tools he had was actually making a good fist of it.

He pissed all over them, all summer. He arguably made the team worse, the longer he was there. The arguments of what he did as a coach don't really hold up. Wednesday got results when they lumped it, each time he tried to get them playing, they made themselves look silly.

I don't think there's any evidence he's a better bet than any of the Championship steady Eddie's. If given the choice, I'd take Wilder over him every time

Nothing against Rohl at all, and he seems a good capable manager. But appointing him would just be so pathetic and unnecessary, and make a mockery of the rivalry. It would upset Wednesday fans? So what, don't care. It's not about them

The state of our football atm, I can’t see how we could play any worse with Dyche in charge.

I know atm we can only look up, but if this type of play we are being served up continues I’ll certainly be looking downwards

He would be my safe bet. Someone who would galvanise the players. Someone who understands the game. Someone who understands the fans and I guess what it means playing against that lot over the other side of the city

This wanting a manager to play “nice” football is the last thing on my mind atm. We need to get some points on the board and I don’t see any coming our way the next two games

As for United, I get where you’re coming from, I was in a similar position in the Adkins era,
Was working a lot away from home and wanted to spend the little recreational-time I had with the family
And United just seemed to doing things that annoyed me a bit!

They seem to be doing better without him and let’s not forget their poor home record under him, personally don’t see the hype. Could be interesting to see how he performs with better players but then again I thought the same with Selles! If Selles goes, which I doubt is this week personally, then Rohl was known to be of interest to the board before they appointed Selles I seem to recall, have I remembered that right? I'm sure I read that the board were nervous in appointing Wednesdays manager from the fans perspective but I think the compensation may have been a bigger issue!

Know how you feel Frank. As you get older, you tend to prioritise what's good and what's negative in your life, and throw out the shit. I still care about the Blades obviously, but every year a little bit more is eaten away. That last play off final, a fucking big chunk was bitten off.

I agree with this, however, I think the owners will go down this type of route. With the signing of Danny Ings which I'd say is a Selles signing they're clearly backing Selles to turn it around at the moment
