HOPE NOT BOTTLED ITWilder?
Please no don't think would be wise of him as a big number against him before a ball kicked could get pretty toxicWilder?
Against Wilder? Please no don't think would be wise of him as a big number against him before a ball kicked could get pretty toxic
Keep Hecky.Wilder is yesterdays man did a great job but time to move forward with hecky or new blood but who
Unless you're in marketing for a pornography company of courseI've been in my marketing job for 14 years and I'd like to think I'm pretty safe, but if come into work tomorrow and email our customers a picture of a giant cock, I'd probably be in trouble.
Is this now one game?
some good points made there the premier league has moved on since the last time we were promoted under wilder its not just the top 6 that are spending big nowadays its two thirds of the division and although im not convinced hecky is a premier league manager especially with his naive tactics but hes been given no chance of keeping us up by our boardroomNobody outperforms Hecky significantly enough to keep us up. A change of manager is pointless, and would involve spending money that we don't have. Money that, if found, could've been used to sign more players, better players.
The club are in the Premier League because of Hecky and the players.
The club are in the Premier League in spite of the Owner's lack of wealth, relative to the rest of the division.
You can say performances haven't been up to scratch - but the premier league is a different beast since we were last here, only a few years ago. Most teams have money, creativity, athletes and depth. We have very little of any. We're an injury or suspension away from one of the kids coming into the match day squad - all across the park.
If the side struggles to compete, it's because the owner can't afford to spend properly.
If the side struggles to compete, it's because the owner hasn't backed his manager.
Simple as.
Fucking kill me nowDean Smith is who the hierarchy want to replace hecky, there’s another from Spain but I don’t know who.
Dean Smith is a banter level appointmentDean Smith is who the hierarchy want to replace hecky, there’s another from Spain but I don’t know who.
I’m suddenly warming up to the Wilder idea…Dean Smith is who the hierarchy want to replace hecky
Names?Replacements being lined up.
Vote of confidence always means sacked in the morningWould make Bettis look like foolish after saying he's safe even if relegated
Absolute BS. Hecky is staying. Even if we are relagated. They know full well that he hasnt been given much to spend and we lost players, then the ones we did get in came in very late. The target was and remains staying up, but if we don’t, we will be stronger financially to improve the squad under Hecky. Apart from the training ground situation, the house is in order. Assets are back under club control, meaning we can actually spend our next load-Prem money or parachute payments-it can and will be spent improving the squad. All under Hecky. The club are sticking with him.
Love every bit of that.Absolute BS. Hecky is staying. Even if we are relagated. Then the hierarchy can pack up their shit and fuck off.Dean Smith is who the hierarchy want to replace hecky, there’s another from Spain but I don’t know who.
Exactly. It isn't a level playing field. If you're going to pay to sack him and his staff now, you could've used that same money on better/proper recruitment this summer.some good points made there the premier league has moved on since the last time we were promoted under wilder its not just the top 6 that are spending big nowadays its two thirds of the division and although im not convinced hecky is a premier league manager especially with his naive tactics but hes been given no chance of keeping us up by our boardroom
Luton won away at Everton this afternoon.Having just got back and reflected on the performance on the journey home. Earlier in the week I thought a poor result may have seen Hecky go tonight, however the gulf in difference between the championship and premiership are worlds apart, Hamer and Archer were a class above last season, supporters myself included thought they could make the step up, unfortunately although we’ve seen glimpses from both, they both look lost (I accept you can blame tactics and players around them). I don’t think Hecky will go anywhere he’s a cheap yes man. We can’t afford to pay him off and won’t pay the wages for a decent replacement. Only way he will go if the support turns on him and put the board in a corner. This is not singling out two players it highlights we’ve not got the quality or finance to compete at this level.
I just don't understand the logic in having a long term plan that the club is aligned on and then throwing that in the bin because short term, when we accepted relegation was a real possibility, we lose some games.Absolute BS.
