Still only 28 (prime years) and always been a striker I'd liked us to sign along with C.Morris before his move.

Sorry its a Luton player but he's definitely got the striking qualities and scoring 10 in 27 in the PL 2 seasons ago!

Anyone know if he's back fit yet? Long injury apparently. And no he's not injury prone, playing just under 300 career games...

Obviously for a reasonable fee but reckon he'd be a good shout to get his career going again.

Upgrade on a few of our current strikers 🙄

The one we should have got was Carlton Morris.

He could have been the upgrade on Moore last summer.
Maybe we would have also ended up with Bamford too and not got Ings.
absolutely would have fitted in at the lane perfectly

Hes big and got a bit of pace about him but thats about it.

Hes not prolific, hes had 1 season where hes scored more than 10 goals, (16 his record best) usually its around 5-8 goals per season.

Im sure he was up there with most chances missed and big chances missed last season or season before prem.

I would rather pass on this one and I also dont want to turn into Luton, we signed enough of their shit already.

Morris and Bamford with Campbell and Cannon as the back ups is a promotion winning combination in my book.
And was entirely possible. Given what we actually ended up spending last summer.

I'm much more in the Wilder camp than out. Not going to go into all of that.
But the bomb that was set last summer can't be overstated.

We got rid of Wilder (OK fair enough I did understand them maybe wanting a fresh start) and went for a transfer strategy in conjunction with a manager (Selles) who lets be honest didn't have a sterling CV.
Even now I struggle to understand how they got to that decision and to just offer it him. Not interview others just "it's yours".
There were other managers available that had more on their recent CV than him too.

The transfers in too. Like we've chucked alot of money around badly. Matos, Zattersrom (Not seen him of course but few mill here), McGuinness (More the fee than anything else), Chong, Ukaki, Ogbene. Your looking at potentially several million here including loan fees.

I don't think it's too dramatic to say he got Luton relegated. Missed 7 more big chances than anyone in the league 💩
