Does he though? Outside of us in the Champ, Wilder hasn't succeeded. He's also not really succeed with us since he came back as we couldn't lay a glove on any of our promotion rivals, and even when we were winning games 90% of the time it wasn't comfortable or enjoyable
Yes he pisses all over THIS1000011019.webp

So basically there's nobody out there better than Wilder. So why is the board even looking? Just tell CW to spruce up his image. Nice trim, a couple of new suits, maybe learn another language and no more boozing. That would do it for me.

Wilder to be sacked by Sheff Utd, O'Neil not in frame

Latest by Sky Sports News' Tim Thornton and Rob Dorsett:

Chris Wilder will be sacked by Sheffield United in the next few days following a review of last season when the team missed out on promotion to the Premier League in the play-off final.

Contrary to reports elsewhere, Sky Sports News understands the former Wolves boss Gary O'Neil will not be the man to replace Wilder.

Sky Sports News has been told there is no rift with the board, and in fact Wilder has an excellent relationship with Rosen. This change in manager is motivated by the new regime wanting to bring in their own person to lead the football operation.

Not sure if that is just PR waffle, Nick, would seem odd in a way?

They own a person.....I thought those days were gone.

Whining about your manager and club pff

Hardly call anything I have said as whining when all I’ve said is keep it the same and the players are good but stop banging on incessantly about how all business will be AI and make a decision one way or another as the more it drags on the less preparation time. Where am I whining in that? You tell me your opinion and we’ll then judge who is whining, in fact don’t bother you clearly haven’t read what I’ve said. Just caught to the chase and call me a disgruntled former employee.

I get what you’re saying, but maybe Wilder himself is happy to go? I’m not sure we’ve seen that particularly considered but what if the hunger has started to wane?
I've no idea what the facts are but I said as soon as I got on the coach at Wembley that I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder negotiated his exit.

It's a scenario many don't seem to consider whilst being happy to believe no end of other theories that allow them to slag the new owners.

I would say the QPR guy has a decent record but totally agree, Wilders CV is the best and he's also the best fit for united.
Just a question, why is he the best fit for utd?.... fan/ played for us?/ gets the club?/ pashun?

It was always going to be... Wilder was basically finished when the 2 bob prince, walked out of the door!
