I remember seeing Basham’s debut against Bristol City as a young lad to him probably playing his last game as a blade against Fulham, what a club legend but also what a nice guy. So unfortunate to see what’s happened today and actually quite distressing for not only the fans but the players. Hoping for a safe and speedy recovery.

All thoughts are with him and his family back in Sheffield.

Very very similar if not worse, David Boost didn’t return to football and he was in his late twenties.

Completely unfair for it to happen to Bash but at his age I don't see how he comes back if it's half as serious as it looked. Completely freak injury nobody to blame just one of those horrible moments

David Busst. It wasn’t actually the injury itself that finished his career. It was a post op infection that resulted in muscle loss. Tragic.

That is a sickening injury, I've never seen an ankle turn as much as that,can't see a way back from that...
