Half time report

After just 15 minutes we commented that if Bournemouth are a relegation rival then we’re in trouble because they looked quicker and a clear level or 2 above us.

On the Kop we were asking what was our style of play. What were we trying to do. We had no midfield and struggled to put 3 passes together.

Terrible blunder by Fodderingham but losing 0-2 at half time was fair. Think our 1st half tactics was damage limitation and conserving energy because at no point did we even enter their penalty area.

2nd half, as expected started much better pushing men forward going for it. Conceded a 3rd in controversial style, we were on the attack and the ref was in the way stopping a promising attack. So as per the rules it was a stopped ball. Our player Thomas expected the Bournemouth player to give it to us but their player won the ball and they scored from the breakaway.

0-3 down.

We’re now playing better, it’s more competitive and at least we’re trying to score but why didn’t we have this approach when it was 0-0.

Another point is yet again, our players look like they just met up last week, so you have to blame the manager when we have no style of play or system.
