Comes down to simple footballing brains and ability, Premier League players never make a pass unless it's on, they never hoof it away unless under serious pressure, they hold the ball, twist, turn, control, and then pass it to a team mate and more importantly FUCKING MOVE, to get a return, or create space, or drag a defender out of position.

This club think they can do without all that clever player bollox, no matter what division they're playing in.
They graft harder than Championship and League One clubs and this might work with enough endeavour and attitude, but they're never good (even when they're supposedly good) in those leagues.

This poison has become the norm, it has become ingrained into the clubs backward mentality, and it is what every single fan and every single commentator and every so called expert just naturally associates with Sheffield United.

And our fans just slag them off as though it is them that are wrong, same way they'll slag this post off because I've posted it

No but the players DO decide on how much effort they put in and being able to do basics like passing to their teammates, which most seem incapable of doing.
