We need more of a presence in midfield, our build up play has been piss poor. Would like to see Ravel replace Norwood. Maybe Jack on for Osborne

The more reluctant that we are becoming in using the flanks, the more I can see us literally playing into Millwall's hands. The better part of this pitch to play on, seems to been the middle areas. The pitch as a whole is quite sticky and bobbly, however the wings particularly more so.

If we knock the ball up high, then 9 times out of 10, Millwall will benefit. The only way to counter that would be to put a bit more aerial physicality onto the pitch? Such as McBurnie and Leon? And maybe throw Lundstram on second half for some more legs in the middle of the park?

0-0 at half time.

Fairly even game with few chances so far.
It looks to me that both sides have been over cautious and over respectful as tho both teams seem happy with it being 0-0 at half time.

We look the better team with the ball but noticed that pitch is in a bad state with the ball bobbling in places.

Also noticed that Freeman and Osborn are no where near as keen to get forward as Baldock or Stevens. So our big tactic of attacking down the flanks hadn’t been used as much as normal.

Besic needs taking off. Bring rav on.

Sharps looked up for it

Knill having a word with Robinson after replacing him with Clarke. Wonder what was said. ‘Do a bit fucking more’ maybe?

He was the wrong side of the post after a headed knock down from Billy, with a goalkeeper and two defenders between him. He just got to it before them. There’s literally no way he could have scored.

Apart from that yeah it’s a sitter.

At work, only glanced at it, Robinsons reaction made me think it was easier than it actually was.

Millwall are behind...so have no choice but to push more men forward when they attack.

We still look comfortable in defence but there’s now more space when we counter attack.

We’re still on top and look in control of the game.
It‘s looking more likely that we’ll score a 2nd.....to be honest Millwall look quite poor.

Millwall look intent on playing the ball straight down O'Connell, Bash and Jags throat now?

With substitutions made, it looks like they are going to send the ball long and high.

That's how Millwall have played for most of the time I've seen us play them anyway! Ha ha!
