Looks like a sea fog at Anfield, great to see the Blades in action any time. Gave a for the action, bloody score line though 4-2. At least United were promoted at seasons end in 2nd place to Alf Ramsey's Ipswich Town.

Two relatively new managers. John Harris appointed April 1959 and Bill Shankly appointed December 1959.

Both would manage their clubs throughout the 1960's (apart from John Harris one year as General Manger).

To manage one club through a whole decade is almost unheard of now.
