We have recently lost to sides who we'll play in the PO's and the whole division can now smell blood when they play us. We are doing nothing on or off the pitch to dispell this. We are two games away from dropping out of the automatics.

Hecky is floundering about, totally out of his depth, as are McCall and Lester.

In answer to your question, I would happily pay up both Sharp and Fleck now and have neither of them play for us again. Thank them both for the memories, but both are finished at this level and it's an absolute insult to the fans and to the likes of Doyle, McAtee, Coulibaly, Arblaster, Brooks and Osborn that Fleck gets in ahead of them. The same goes for Jebbison and Sharp for a place on the bench.

And please do not try and defend Berge on any level, he is an absolute embarrassment of a footballer. A lazy, effete, heartless, over paid waste of a shirt, whom people have protected and defended for far too long. He's been an absolute mistake of a signing from the get go. A silver fork of a player when we needed a plastic spoon to eat our soup.

Because a certain set of our fans (not saying you) have been desperate for our manager to fail so the messiah can come back.

Heckys done a reyt good job in the circumstances.The clubs antics regarding transfer embargo’s and talk of ridiculous take overs at key points in last two seasons make us a laughing stock.
2nd in the table(albeit playing crap)and quarter finals of FA Cup is a great achievement at this point in the season.
Give the bloke some credit.
Those calling for his head don’t really come up with alternatives.
Get behind him , the team and we will go up.
Do I look forward to a season in the Prem?🤔

  • seeming reluctance to make substitutions when a game plan wasn't working,
  • some weird tinkerman changes to format which made us play worse
Conclusion - the man is out of his depth - get rid

Then Sunderland - a fucking inspired change to line up and formation

So maybe the truth is he is a good (very good) manager, working within limitations, who sometimes makes a wrong call but you can't argue with the table.
 

Some people have short memories the manager before Hecky was absolutely useless. Carnt even remember his name that's how bad he was or I might be trying to forget UTB

could we not save them until the end of the season? We won't know where we will be playing next season until the end of the season.
 
And the really funny thing is, if you were to stick the last months results at the beginning of the season we would now all be on our knee's calling him the Messiah....

He also has to keep the experienced senior players onside,or risk losing/upsetting the dressing room..it's probably why we see Billy come on instead of say Jebbo..I don't think it would end well for Hecky if he just sidelined the likes of Billy,Norwood, Fleck for instance in place of the younger more mobile lads,even though against the high energy teams we might need to..maybe one or two changes,and err..resting players or using subs is the way to eventually phase in the new,and phase out the old.

These are nothing to do with wilder coming back. On the contrary they are more to do with Hecky speaking his mind. These people are willing to defend the board and slate hecky.
 
I'm not saying it will happen at all but it would be the most Sheffield United thing ever to somehow get promoted and win the FA Cup whilst fans call for the managers head over performances.
