"Who missed some ryte sitters"? Come on then, enlighten us? And don't try the penalty against the pigs either.
I love mcgoldrick but he did miss quite a few easy chances. A few that he created himself and then failed to put the finishing touch to so nobody really got on his back in fact the opposite as we could see his quality and importance.

We really never replaced him. He was SO unique

you was not at Brighton, open goal from about 4 yards. I did like him but him and billy are not even in my best 5 strikers for Blades in my time.
I was at Brighton and tried my best to will the ball over the line.

How I wish I could sacrifice a limb to watch the most skilful player in the best Sheffield United side I'm likely to ever see be imperfect again

Who missed some ryte sitters, ffs some ryte Rose tinten glasses on here. He was good but not as good as some of your memories.
Irrelevant. Most people remember and appreciate him for what he brought to the team as a whole. A wonderful footballer, nobody is saying he was the ultimate goal scorer.

He missed loads of chances. Particularly that first season in the Prem. But he was never an out and out goalscorer. If he had been then he would have spent much of his career at a higher level than championship

Remember the 4 he got at home to hull. Class.
Sorry that was Leon Clarke.
So ok the 2 at hull in the promotion season.
Still class.

It never made sense, he didn't seem able to shoot with any power and had an odd technique which made it look like he scuffed every shot. But then he was also able to seemingly side foot it in the top corner from 25-30 yards.
His action taking long shots always looked like he was trying to aggressively remove dog shit from the bottom of his shoe.

The bloody first touch 🥰. There's a top journalist who wrote a piece about him once calling him 'the EFL Berbatov' and I love that, can very much see what he means.
Apart from he works ten times harder than Beebatov.

The clearance/pass wasn’t too shabby either!

It's genuinely surprising he only got to the premier league with us. He has that ability you can't help but admire.
