No doubt the tribunal panel will be made up of 100% pig fans and we'll break the world transfer record.

We're talking Pigs, here.I would imagine that if he is 24 in 2 months and therefore able to sign without any fee involved at that stage, that the pigs wouldnt be able to claim much should he sign for us and it go to tribunal. I think Utd would possibly give them a small nominal fee to free him up early and if the pigs are worth anything then they would agree to that on behalf of their ex player. If they play hard ball then Utd will simply sit tight for 2 months. All parties know the situation and im sure the pigs would rather have a bit now than nowt in 2 months time. Provided common sense prevails i see no reason why a deal cant be struck now.
I believe you can still negotiate with the other club and not let it go to a tribunal
He rejected a new contract as opposed to them releasing him then? Interesting
Surely tribunal is only required if he is STILL contracted to Wednesday? If he's a free agent surely that means he has parted company at the end of his contract by mutual consent?!?
So, is he still a Pig?
I hope not, if he was he's probably changed his mind.In the stand today apparently
He rejected a contract, so regardless of him being a free agent, Wednesday are still due compensation unfortunately
2 Weeks? We need the new players in by Tuesday if poss if not by Friday. Earlier the better we have waited before and that didnt end wellWe shall see over the next 2 weeks.
you do remember that the team from S6 finished 6th in the Championship last season - and we..............didn't?Just goes to show the state of SUFC when fans are jizzing in their skivvies over a player not good enough to hold down a place at S6, maybe he found his level at Pompey as did McNulty ................ kin hell if you didn't laugh you'd weep.

Yes whilst Lavatory was alongside McNulty at Portsmouth, also he had loan spells at Plymouth and Southend in league two, oh and he had about half a dozen games in League one for Chessy not scoring many goals for any of them. Is he League one standard? Is he what we need? Easy to please some of our fans eh. Oh and he seems to like rejecting new contracts too, one to be very wary of ..........you do remember that the team from S6 finished 6th in the Championship last season - and we..............didn't?
Pronounced :
Colon Lavatory.
In his time at Wednesday, Lavery played 39 times in all competitions since, scoring six goals.
A serious knee injury restricted Lavery to just 14 outings during the 2014/15 campaign
.
Hmmmmmm another coming back from an injury.

All of them had played for the pigs in the premiership as opposed to Lavery who has mostly played in League two.Remember Quinn, Bromby and Geary? Pity they achieved fuck all with us....
