Yeah - agree to an extent. But does/did Sharp always strike you as one-dimensional? Hold on, before you get all velociraptor-like. By that I mean, the first two times he played for us he was playing in systems which didn't suit his direct, up and at em manner. At Scunny when he bagged a hatful that season he was playing in a system which fed that quite well.
This time round he seems to be scoring despite the shortcomngs in supporting him and supplying him. Yes, the ball gets to him but I see that he usually finds himself on his own, carving out slim opportunities. Imaging then if he and Done (or better still a 'target/first ball' striker) can be made to work with him? Don't get me wrong - I'm chuffed he's got so many goals, but he could be, theoretically, our 20+ a season bloke which supports out automatic ambitions, instead of a 'worked his socks off but got nowhere' front man.
