On a serious not, hope all these shite pictures of Osama Bin Laden with the blades badge in the background isn't going to damage this. Media running wild with a no story yet again without presenting the facts to the masses.

cos they all support Man unitedWhy don't clubs try and capture the Indian market? Almost as big as China, with football also gaining popularity there.
You know, for a change.
They do...Daily Mail will love it.
Word has just got to Bert that it's a Chinese investment company.
They do...

Martin Samuels unavailable for comment...
They also had links with the Bush family, but thats ok then!I love how the only comment on this article is what pretty much everyone thought when this first came out, except for a minority who presume anyone with the name Bin Laden is a bad motherfucker.
I'm beginning to think this announcement was a red herring, ahead of the court case.
They were looking at Leeds according to Bert's source, delay due to translation of very hefty legal agreement.
Hey .... surely a handshake would suffice ....................They were looking at Leeds according to Bert's source, delay due to translation of very hefty legal agreement.
I was jokingIt wasn't.
Perhaps a little premature if they weren't planning on following it up within a certain period of time though.
I was joking![]()
Swimming against the tide there, mate.I know, I was just trying to cut down on 15 pages of panic and speculation![]()
I would doubt it. Sponsors want to get their name out there, the PL is the vehicle for that. Who owns the club is pretty irrelevant. In fact, the more controversy, the more the club are in the news, the more exposure the company gets. (Unless bodies are found buried under the centre circle, or something).Could the outcome of the court case have any influence over the terms of the commercial deal?
In any event, it would have been negotiated over quite a period of time, certainly before Promotion was confirmed. Surely Premier League status takes any commercial terms to a new level.
I'm wondering if someone in the commercial or web team just got a bit ahead of themselves here?
But what if only one of our two owners has actually sanctioned the deal?I would doubt it. Sponsors want to get their name out there, the PL is the vehicle for that. (Unless bodies are found buried under the centre circle, or something).
If the deal has already been signed off, it doesn't matter. If it hasn't and the new sole owner didn't broker the deal, why would he turn it down, unless he has something better in the wings, of course. But what if only one of our two owners has actually sanctioned the deal?
It's like on X-factor where Dermot pauses dramatically before announcing the name of an act. It works if it's a short pause. If it goes on too long it looks like he's lost the envelope.I find it extremely stupid for the club to announce a forthcoming sponsorship deal which will smash all records...and to watch this space.
Get thousands of fans excited, waiting for the news and a week later nobody is still any wiser and the club has gone silent.
Oh so you can announce it without revealing the shirt at the same time, who knew?![]()
Shirt released now. I would say the black box is a teeny tiny bit too big.
