Just been on TalkShite that Lavery is refusing to train with the pigs as he wants a move to the mighty Blades.

All of them had played for the pigs in the premiership as opposed to Lavery who has mostly played in League two.

All of them released by pigs in League One as opposed to Lavery who was offered a contract after pigs finished 6th in Championship.

Dean Hammond played last season for the Premier League Champions.......

Who gives a fuck where they come from, he could be the next Jamie Vardy for all we know

Sheff U. Grant thing right. Want midfielder too. Couple short listed. And a very controversial move for a striker

He'll mean Lavery and I want us to sign him but..... if only he was referring to someone else.

It's hardly controversial if it's Lavery. Just because he is pork. His record is hardly outstanding and its not as if he's a first team regular that we are poaching.

I heard that. The Moose trying to make more of a sensational story out of it saying stuff like "A second SW player refusing to train....Lavery has joined fellow contract rebel Forestieri and is set for a move to.....SHEFFIELD UNITED! Gasp!

To which Alan Brazil said "Well he's a complete balloon then!" Made me chuckle to be fair.

Yeah and it was funny listening to the Moose trying to make it sound like the pigs were in crisis. Like a reverse RS.
I wonder if any of their potential targets look at the Forestieri situation and think 'fuck that, I'm not signing for people who might deny me my chance to double my wages and/or play at a higher level'.

Here it comes guys!? An exclusive from Radio Sheffield in their sports bulletin once Pressman stops talking bollocks?!

Moves for Lavery, Grant have fallen through. Nothing wrong at our end were trying to get the deals wrapped up in time for Saturday

So we know who plays in goal toneet if true

Somebody else said that didn't they on twitter from earlier. I reckon we could sign another decent keeper to be honest, but I do think Grant would be class that said. Don't know much about Lavery.

Max gets his updates straight off here. Truth is inconsequential in his world, it's all about twitter reactions.

aye saying that the grant and lavery deals have fallen through i wont believe that until i see it as for saying derby wanted 9k a week for him in wages is a bit of a fuck up its the player who makes his wage demands not the club selling him they can only name the price for him not how much he will earn at his next club

But if Grant is a loan, don't the clubs arrange between them who pays what proportion of the loaned players salary?

i'm not sure all i know is that if we sign him on permo derby don't have any say in his wages

Hi guys, I'm new here but my unfortunate background is I work at Sheffield Wednesday academy (career comes before football loyalties;)). Anyway point is the Lavery transfer seems very much an academy situation so I've heard that Blades genuinely do want Lavery but are apprehensive about the fee so are looking at maybe offering a current youth player to go straight into the u23's at Wednesday as part of the deal. The other information I was told was Louis Reed has been told he can go on loan or on a permanent if the fee is right.

I'd also like to say I don't claim to be ITK just passing on info

My workmate was a coach at SWFC Academy for two or three years before leaving last year. His son now plays for Barnsley Academy after leaving SWFC last year
