Signed by Hecky. What about Harmer Souza ?
He is responsible for 2 of the worst ever relegations. To do this he has spent more than the entire 135yr history of our transfer budget combined. He has only just managed to win a home game, our first since December 23 and his PL PPG remains .48.
if my investment group, wanted to put a record like that in charge of my funds investment performance , I would be soon gone.
Were you cheering when we won division one with a100 points after 6 fucking years in the division, beat the pigs 2-4 in arguably one of most pleasing victories for donkeys and then achieving promotion to the premier league and then finishing 9th?He is responsible for 2 of the worst ever relegations. Hecky’s deal length was to match the contract he was on with the u23’s. A HR person will know better but I don’t think we could offer him a promotion from u23 to first team on a shorter contract than he already had without paying some of his existing contract up.Didnt Hecky get a staggering 5 year deal or am I making that up? We all knew he weren't going to last that long either.
Wilder at least deserves a 2/3 year deal if we're doing well at Xmas.
And I'd argue one looks like he's no stranger to a fish supper and the other was the only player getting struck down by cramp on Sunday....Signed by Hecky.
Makes sense that mate! Thought at the time it was long.Hecky’s deal length was to match the contract he was on with the u23’s. I might be wrong though.
That's the whole point isn't it! You're both factually correct when it comes to Wilder. His best is right up there with anything we've ever seen, but his worst is right down there. As high as the highs were, the 2nd PL seasonal and last season left much more of an emotional memory....Were you cheering when we won division one with a100 points after 6 fucking years in the division, beat the pigs 2-4 in arguably one of most pleasing victories for donkeys and then achieving promotion to the premier league and then finishing 9th?
I'm not an accountant, just trying to balance the books with your argument.
He certainly doesn’t want them bonding over a few beers as if it was still the 80s if he has any aspirations to be a PL manager. And I'd argue one looks like he's no stranger to a fish supper and the other was the only player getting struck down by cramp on Sunday....
As we saw last season the physical demands of the PL are unbelievable. If Wilder is to be successful at the next level he needs to get his head round this....
When he was telling those anecdotes during that Colin Murray interview, it suddenly became clear why he struggled to find work and why we've now struggled under him for the past two seasons at that level ...He certainly doesn’t want them bonding over a few beers as if it was still the 80s if he has any aspirations to be a PL manager.
Reminds me a lot of warnockWhen he was telling those anecdotes during that Colin Murray interview, it suddenly became clear why he struggled to find work and why we've now struggled under him for the past two seasons at that level ...
no other club will be remotely interested in appointing him at this level.

Why?
Because he is extremely mardy when we lose alot like we will if we go up, also trumps him getting new contracts every two minutes like he did with us a few years ago.
I honestly don’t think anyone would have him now.
He was hot property a few years ago, small budget promotions, innovative tactics. Now he’s just a badge thumping manager who only likes buying British players because they have a beer at a weekend.
What happened to the Houston Oilers?
The Oilers made consecutive playoff appearances from 1978-80 and from 1987-93. The team relocated from Houston to Tennessee in 1997 and played as the Tennessee Oilers for two years before the team changed its name to the Titans before the 1999 season.
Tell me you've lost an argument without actually telling me you've lost an argument....Absolute nonsense.
Maybe living in the US and seeing this, clouds your judgement.
Lets change our name and move our club to a different city.

Offer him the deal. The fire is back in his belly again. And I for one, love to see it.

What have the Houston Oilers got to do with Wilder’s employment prospects outside of Bramall Lane?!Absolute nonsense.

Absolutely spot on. Wilder is the only reason we have been in the Premier League in recent years. Had he not taken over when he did, I suspect we’d still be in League 1 or worse. What Mr Wilder did on the cash he had to spend that first season he took us up, was nothing short of a miracle. But without the finance and support you need to compete at that level, he had no chance. of staying there.
If a team like Leeds with their backing couldn't compete there what chance did we have, and it's worse now than it was then.
Wake up and smell the coffee, Mr Wilder is our best chance of getting there, and we can do that, but please don't disrespect or blame the manager when we come back down again. ......![]()
