Why Europe would be a bad thing

"I heard a report saying that at the moment …….." The 4589th time I've seen this comment. Amazing how so many people are ITK'rs

I've been coming round to the idea of this more in the past few weeks, at the end of the day, Europe = even greater pull power. Yes we would need to spend, but also we could attract some great up and coming players who will want to put themselves on the stage rather than be out for a paycheck...

At the end of the day, which top championship player is gonna turn down Europa League football for a cold Tuesday night in Barnsley? I reckon we are 6 players off a squad which can compete in Europe and PL... doable in summer!

That’s probably Wilder’s next big challenge, to manage and keep happy a larger squad. Be able to rotate the starting XI without a drop in performance levels.

If anyone can do it, Wilder can!

The Europa League just holds no interest for me these days, Thursday night football against some Latvian team nobody's heard of and then having to play Sundays is shit. But i may change my tune if United qualified

The quickest way to turn from an above average premier league team to an above average championship one would be to qualify for that god awful tournament where you have to play 70 odd games before you get to play anyone decent

That's the thought process that CW definitely won't be having......
He's an ambitious type and will want to test himself at the highest level. The squad will have also have the same ambition.

This club is one of the biggest clubs never to have played in Europe.
Hopefully, we will finally be able to do so.

Europe would not be a bad thing.

Ideally, Bordeaux, St Etienne and Lille.
