This is my point. OldBlade has come on and and been positive about Billy Sharp. He’s agreed with you that he’s been vital to our revival. For some strange reason you’ve ignored all of that and started an argument with him. Can you really not see how that is strange?

Whoever stepped in to the Coutts role needed to be given a run of games to see if they can settle in to it. It's not going to happen instantly and they're never going to be Coutts. If it was me I would keep him in there .

If we had all stuck with our original judgement of Coutts, we would never have had a Coutts if you know what I mean. Too many folk judge new players far too harshly. It’s not unusual for players to take time to settle.

Lundstrum was the best of the three midfielders over 90 minutes today, Fleck picked up second half but Duffy had a bit of a mare in all honesty which is a shame as when he’s on he’s our most important player.

dont remember coutts winning too many when he first came, his stats improved through playing

Lundstram is probably the only player we have that everyone is comparing directly with Couttsy. Put any other player in that role that has been mentioned, Bash, Caruthers or Duffy and they would not be compared to Coutts in the same way as Lunny has been, they would all be accepted as being a different player.

I like Lundstram, I think he's got a lot of qualities.

Yesterday in the first half, some of his passes were neat, short and we moved the ball well. However, he was thinking he was Beckham and trying to find the 'Hollywood' pass far too often, but in doing this, gave away possession to allow the counter. I thought it overshadowed his good work in the first half.

Second half though was an entirely different story, he was playing the sensible ball and cut out the 30-40 yard diagonal balls, instead switching play. Brooks and Clarke both benefited.

One thing i really liked was his vision, looking to put strikers in. I don't mind when these don't come off as they're literally inches away from creating a one on one chance.

He needs to be more composed at times, but generally a tidy player.
