I think that thread shows there are significantly more posters than just him on this forum that appreciate Sharp's value to our team. Why he would use it as an example to prove the contrary is bewildering.

Thought he played fine today, he's got big boots to fill after Coutts injury.
My farther seems to dislike him a lot for his backwards passing and the odd mistakes, but its not like Coutts and co never passed it backwards the odd time.
I do feel we need to make some changes to the starting 11, just not been playing very well last two games.

Billy Sharp is and always will be a cult figure with the vast majority of supporters of this club. His effort and contribution to the revival of our club is in no doubt at all to the vast majority of posters on this forum, but for some reason you wish to invent some kind of vendetta against him. Mind boggling.

I would have thought that the obvious point was that very few people on this forum see Billy Sharp as anything other than an asset to our side.

Yes I was around on Tuesday and most were blaming individual errors (more specifically - Carter-Vickers) for the defeat. And many also just put it down to a crazy, one off game.

Forest Green is not a touchy subject to me, but people looking down on others is.
