An opinion

It's factual. And probably not about Wilder but a competent manager with a proven record. I was surprised he was sacked as it wasn't justified, but hey ho. I expected A Steve Cooper type to walk through the door. Maybe naive.

Our wage bill is huge. Look at this guys record. He's a young coach and a failure as the head.

I would have liked to have seen Wilder continue then have Moore, Anel, and Souza removed from his matchday squad. Today has been beyond poor but Wilder is not the answer. He had one job to do last season and a manager worth his salt when he leads his side to top of the league with 7 games to go gets promoted. He didn’t even need to beat Burnley to go up either. March-May was relegation form.

But 90 points trump 0 every time
And 0 points is relegation form 90 gets you promotion in 8 out of 10 seasons

Would you have not given Wilder a few months , we would not be in this position at the moment, probably a few more points and a bit of fight , then make a decision on Wilder

True but playoff final loss = no promotion every time. He had the opportunity to become something of legend in the playoff final but goes 1-0 up and decides to try and hold on against a side that were clearly up for it.
Try and hold on ...we were on top for 75 minutes and ddcored a 2nd VAR wrinhly ruled out

Come on, I rely on you to tell me how it’s all gonna be fine, if you’re waving the white hankie we’re down.

Said when he was appointed it was a ridiculous appointment ....wilder won more matches last season than selles has in his career

It’s down to the owners really the official statement on the website “Sheffield United can confirm a mutually agreed decision has been reached for manager Chris Wilder to leave the football club.” They could have started with trying to keep him in post but he might have had different ideas or wasn’t happy about something. We are still filling round holes with square pegs, yes Ipswich scored some quality goals tonight but they shouldn’t have had the space to let off the shot.
