Takeover question

So everyone in football knows about this "takeover" situation. Do prospective players know whether they are being monitored by us and thus just waiting for the "official word"? Are our supposed targets more in the know than , say, the media are? Would be interested to hear the process in our situation. Would love to hear from the club office that we are in touch with targets and to be patient, they don't have to spill names. Trust in the process, I get that.
Would love to feel more confident in the upcoming season.

Saying nothing is better than lying. I do agree that PR is not our clubs forte and the silence from the club since relegation is deafening.

At minimal I'd have expected a club statement to address the shambles of last season and an apology to the fans and season ticket holders who paid hard earned cash to watch that complete rabble.

But no, nothing. Just arrogance knowing that our fans will always pay out the money no matter what they serve up to us.

"Again, it was shit. That was literally just a turd in a pitta with a fried turd next to it."

I haven't, but I'm kind of temped. A mate sent me a picture of the latest 'tenderising process' they use for the steaks.
He did say he thought the extra £80 quid to try 'something different' as the menu described it was a bit steep, but I suppose nothing's for free nowadays.
He suggested not using the bus though. He picked up quite a serious stomach bug on the way home, presumably off the dirty seats or one of the other passengers.

The way this is going is similar to last summer. Difference this time is the squad is way smaller and we need new players. Whilst ever the uncertainty is there players and selling clubs will be wary as to whether we have the cash to pay up.

I am getting that feeling too. It is a month since the news broke of supposed Silicon Valley takeover and no credible leaks of who is involved. I think that the Prince does want to sell but his price is likely still too high.
