Unbelievable that the 2 massive donations to reform (I don't want this to be political) Are from 2 different Sheffield men,i didn't think there was any Sheffield billionaires 😳.
If only 1 of them was intrested in buying us, I'd like to think they would care more about us that these Yanks. Knowing our luck both would be pigs

Ask Wit he knows, if they were 🐷s you would have thought they'd have snaffled them up. Harbourne is originally from Mosborough when it was originally in Derbyshire. So....🤷‍♂️

I’d want us to try and be a bit more adventurous in terms of international recruitment, not less. 😂😩

I hadn't read that they're "from" Sheffield. Sad in many ways.

I'm probably happier that we have some useless daydreaming Americans than a couple of rich Brits that apparently want Farage as Prime Minister, buying themselves influence on everybody else's lives.

Talk about being unpatriotic.

Got another one for you. A nerdy lad from my year at school got into crypto, became spectacularly wealthy and now lives across the pond running his firm.

His company is partly based in Mexico. We can only speculate why. 🤔

But yeah I’m sure these crypto donors are well intentioned because the use cases for their products are so wholesome.

I’ve got some groats and some silver thru’penny bits, and I’m thinking of making a donation to the Monster Raving Loony Party.

Literally no info to suggest either of them have any remote interest in football let alone Sheffield football clubs.

The fact they both live abroad and are both big into crypto and are giving donations to Reform tells you a great deal.
They clearly feel that a Reform gov. would be much better for their assets whether that be cryptocurrency rules or taxes.

I'd be extremely wary of their intentions politically or if they were looking to invest in our football club.

Be great having a billionaire owner, with an SCR £10m spending cap.

All I will say is...working in the financial industry, we won't touch any business whose soul enterprise is crypto.

I can absolutely see why they would want to support someone making crypto regulation easier and it's worrying.

Not that I am enamoured with our owners but I definitely wouldn't want investment from crypto billionaire's.

All this talk of Crypto billionaires led me to look up bitcoins and cryptocurrency. Does anyone have a simple explanation as to what it all means? I looked it up on Wikipedia but it might as well be written in Russian!!!
Much talk of mining, blockchains, nodes - I haven't a clue what they're on about:
Can anyone explain this in simple English?

Yep it's a system for highlighting how corrupt this Labour government dictatorship is 😂

In basic terms; Bitcoin is a digital only currency. No physical money exists. It was a theoretical idea that did the rounds, over the years, as a way of creating a currency that bypasses the banking system. The system relies on the use of multiple peoples computers, connected all over the world (the "chain"), which each hold a copy of the ledger, like an old banking ledger, showing who owns how much currency. This is based on a shared "block" of information. So the "block" of information is held (as a copy) on thousands of computers, in the "chain".

In theory, this can never be fully hacked, and every time someone buys, or sells, Bitcoin, every single ledger on every single computer in the chain is updated, making it very hard to take advantage of.

As the buying and selling bypasses the banking system, it means criminals can send payments to each other, for drugs or guns, and bypass the banking and tax systems, making it very hard to trace.

Plus you can "mine" bitcoin on your desktop PC using your graphics card. (It took forever though) It was all the craze a few years ago especially in Asia they were buying huge amounts of Graphics cards causing a rise in PC prices and shortages it was ebbing and flowing for a few years then there was a massive crash and loads of used graphics cards flooded the second hand market that were in a sorry state.

The fact that noone on hear knows these guys, went to school with them, suggest their links with Sheffield are virtually none.

Oh crypto is the biggest ever pnozy scheme (pyramid) and lots of people have made loads out of it, but millions will pay in the long run.

Very few serious investors will touch it. See what Warren Buffett views.

It's an absolute scam. Just like we used to have pyramid schemes in the 70's and 80's, we now have crypto.

The fact that Trump and Farage are bigging it up tells you all you need to know.

Anything where you are promised riches for little work is probably a scam.

I don’t trust it either but don’t think it’s a scam, it has value because it’s not infinite. It will have more uses in years to come then it’s value will increase so I do believe it’s worth buying and holding a little bit. I think the big money bubble has burst for now.
A family member of mine started a crypto trading company 6 years ago with around £100k he sold 70% of it 2 years ago for £21 million (100% true) I laughed at the time when he told me what he was doing and thought he mite aswell just throw that £100k in the bin! Some people (the ones who really believed in it) have gotten very wealthy from it.
