The dingle conned the ref for the foul though
Which dopey cunt gave a foul in a key area though?

Wes wants a rocket too for the first. He's got an element to him that is too sure of himself. He needs competition and the fear of being dropped. Give him an easy ride and it invites him to be overconfident. Still can remember that amateurish goal that he conceded vs Boro which cost us a clean sheet.

Wasn’t a foul though mate , can’t bollock fleck for someone diving

This team is still severely lacking creativity
We’ve battered them but not got the breaks in the box , was it 3 efforts they had ?
A long range shot , one courtesy of Wes and a well struck free kick that shouldn’t have been a free kick!
Don’t make more washing for your mum over a pre season game

When players aren’t under pressure for their position they turn in shit performances our recruitment has, once again been painfully slow so our season will, once again start when the window closes.

PH talks well - but doesn’t back it up - he’s a boards manager - won’t Rick the boat too much.

Top 10 this season at best.

Possibly one of the worst pre seasons in terms of performances within games we’ve seen for a long time

However the POSITIVE is that we’re much better prepared this time around than we were last! The results mean nothing & players will have been trying not to get injured during the second half. We lack creativity & that MGW link but I’m not going to lose sleep about how pre season games. It might have been a wake up call for a few

That's probably why he got the job.

We just went backwards once they equalised from comedy goalkeeping. They were never in it until then but again once we concede heads seem to drop. Another pre season error gives a goal away. Yes it probably wasn't a free kick but Berge just let him walk past him before he was allegedly tripped by Fleck.

Too many players strolling through the game. Last night we had players running at the opposition from midfield, up for it fighting for their places. Most of to-days lot probably thought they were a shoe in for next week so didn't need to put the urgency into their play. None the wiser about formation as both 5-2-3 and 3-5-2 just showed up our pedestrian build up play. Manager said players were playing for their places we'll see when he picks the team for Watford. On that showing Norwood walks back into the team and Jebbinson, Basham, Coulibaly and Arblaster are all pushing to be in the squad.

I'm seriously considering topping myself we've lost a pre season friendly and the season ahead is obviously a relegation one. Hecky doesn't know what he's doing and he can't find the dressing room. I'm drinking paraquat in the last chance saloon. OMG....😪😪😪😪

We’ve had a miserable pre season, couldn’t give a shit what they’ve done. If we go into the season like this then we are in a whole heap of shit imo.

Miserable PS is playing two games. One against a nothing Portuguese club and a Donny side who were relegation favourites. Not double the fixtures and an increase in minutes. I really really hate pre-season.

Will Hecky last until the new year?

How much will we regret not signing a first choice GK?

questions questions questions

we have 2 out 3 new centre halfs, and I think given competitive game time the new lads will prove to be very good signings, Lowe, looks good, although hes been at the club for 2 years hasn't really played much for us apart from a couple of cup games, I think he will improve substantially in the next few games, Brewster looks the sharpest hes ever done in a utd shirt, and ndiaye seems to be carrying on last seasons form, we have a few excellent youngsters who look like they're on cusp of being involved in the first team, we also have Doyle who is highly rated at city to come back, unfortunately not at Watford, along with 1 possibly 2 signings yet to come through the door. The people who are predicting that well struggle to make top 10, or questioning heckingbottom on the basis of a couple of pre season games are clearly new to football, I'm sure if we lose at vicarage road next week, and that was always going to be a very tough game regardless, we'll have a torrent of tears and doom and gloom, remember we were in the bottom 6 in the middle of November last season.
So just chill

Pre season results not so important, but confidence is
We’ve shipped a few goals

True but Wes has only let 2 in now was it and one he caused. U23 keeper and Davies were the rest.
