I've no idea what he'd have done. They sacked him because he didn't buy into the narrative, I strongly suspect. When the owners used AI and dictated the signinga
Then why was he so complimentary about them? If your bosses want something, it happens or you leave.I've no idea what he'd have done. They sacked him because he didn't buy until the narrative, I strongly suspect.
He left on very good terms. The door's not completely shut, and they know there's a point at which they'd have to accept the experiment's failed. Then why was he so complimentary about them? If your bosses want something, it happens or you leave.
I might be wrong here but I’m certain Cooper was given players and told to make it work at Forest when they got promoted, so you can’t really say he’s no good with a transfer fund.Danny Rohl - Very capable manager at this level, hated by Wednesday, what's not to like.
Steve Cooper - Possibly the only manager worse with money than Wilder - but less of an issue with the transfer window closed. Good pick.
Kevin Muscat - 2 x A-League winner, J-League winner, Chinese Super League winner. Clearly capable of communicating his winning style of play. Also a bit of a nutter.
Robbie Keane - Demolished the Israeli league with Maccabi Tel Aviv, moved to Hungary, demolished the NB 1 with Ferencváros.
Ben Wilkinson - Manages Man City's Elite Development Squad (position previously held by Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca and Brian Barry-Murphy, currently leading League One with Cardiff. Sheffield boy who used to be in our youth team.
I have no problem with Selles going, it's not worked. He left on very good terms. The door's not completely shut, and they know there's a point at which they'd have to accept the experiment's failed.![]()
It's just an opinion and might not be correct. But I'm certain Wilder was under pressure to follow instructions, didn't play ball and got sacked. It naturally follows that they're not going to allow that to happen with his successor, in my opinion.I have no problem with Selles going, it's not worked.
I just don't get the "yes man" stuff.
could she call at mine first?Me too
I’d also take Hannah Waddingham coming up to mine tonight and sitting on my face.
Just as likely
My opinion is more that he was never getting 90+ points again with that style of play without a large £££ investment in the squad, and keeping everyone. So they tried to find a way of getting better without spending and decided a manager like Selles might do it.It's just an opinion and might not be correct. I don't think the owners will be looking at the forum because they know better than the fans or at least they think they do because at the end of the day it is our club and always will be regardless of who owns the club but we are powerless sorryAs it stands, Steve Cooper has more votes than the other candidates combined (170 / 324).
Hopefully the Board are looking in.
Cooper or Carrick for me.Writing's on the wall for Selles.
Looking ahead, who would you go for...
I don't think those opinions are mutually exclusive. My opinion is more that he was never getting 90+ points again with that style of play without a large £££ investment in the squad, and keeping everyone. Fair dosI don't think those opinions are mutually exclusive.
SELF RESPECT is a key word!I don’t see him getting more time tbh which is madness but there we are.
I hope the next man through the door isn’t wilder we can’t just keep going back for him to be the stop gap shots parties need to have some self respect at this point
So that rules him outIt's just an opinion and might not be correct. But I'm certain Wilder was under pressure to follow instructions, didn't play ball and got sacked. It naturally follows that they're not going to allow that to happen with his successor, in my opinion.
That's the only positive you can give him. He can take criticism other than that he didn't change that midfield in all 4 games and from that it's probably best we find someone knewI've just seen him walk upto the fans.
I believe in him.
Give him time, the players and the weeks to get them to gel.
Pin me.
I'd prefer Gareth GatesGareth Southgate. Need a mans man to lead us.
My issue is with his transfer activity at LeicesterI might be wrong here but I’m certain Cooper was given players and told to make it work at Forest when they got promoted, so you can’t really say he’s no good with a transfer fund.
