Good luck to Sellés tonight.
I’m all for admitting a mistake has been made. Don’t get me wrong.
But I’d also love if he could turn it around. What he has tried hasn’t worked. If he’s an intelligent guy, the first international break would have allowed enough introspection and analysis and time to reboot.
He seems a thoroughly decent guy. He can’t now complain the tools are not there. So it’s really down to whether he can optimise them.
Robbo has left, so potentially a big dissenter may have gone. Even in that he’s been thoroughly respectful in his comments.
So whilst I’ll no doubt be adding a voice to the “who should take over?” and the “it’s not working” comments, because losing 6 straight games with that personnel isn’t acceptable, I’d genuinely prefer if he just turned it around.
