He (like Wes and several others) is absolutely fine to be what we bought him to be - cheap, experienced back-up at the highest level and a potential regular at the level below. If they're starting every week in the PL, you're in bother.

They both worry me….Robo was the best of a bad bunch last season but it was criminal that Soutar didn’t start yesterday and should be captain. Burrows looks an expensive ‘mistake’ and suffering from an upgrade in ‘levels’

I think Wilder will revert to a back 5 again at Norwich - with Souttar coming in in the middle - Robinson on the left & Anel on the right. That will allow Gilchrist & Burrows to push forward slightly as more natural wing backs. I think he will sacrifice Brooks to do that.

Both Gilchrist and Burrows are inexperienced and lacked physicality QPR took full advantage especially down our left.
We are a bit lightweight in a number of positions,it will have been noted by opposition scouts.
Our main problem was allowing QPR to take control of the game.No doubt in my mind as a team we thought we had the game won at 2-0.l hoped Wilder would have sorted it at half time ! It was the opposite we got edgy and nervy ! a draw fare result in the end.
We have a lot of technically gifted players who lack physicality that's a worry really as QPR showed up! A pause for thought for Wilder.

If this was to happen it may suit Burrows but Gilchrist looks far from a naturally attacking, ball playing wing back.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to see us revert to a 3/5 at the back in the none too distant future this season.

I'd say Gilchrist is more of RCB than wing back though. We've probably only got Seriki who would suit that role imho.

do you know jono thats a great shout and maybe when shackleton and seriki are fit again it might just happen robinson is going to cost us more points if we continue playing him in a back 4 hes ok in a 3 but thats it big decision for wilder coming up

Given that Robbo is captain I think he should have been more assertive in keeping the team playing to 'the script'. He should have seen what was happening and made sure Wilder's game plan was adhered to. It is a key role of being captain.

I think the way Robinson, Anel, Sousa disappeared into their shell after it was 2-1, maybe the scars of last season aren't fully healed... We cant be having that every time a game gets squirrelly....
