Quinn keen on new deal

Definitely not. Of our current crop of midfielders, Quinn's the one I'd be most disappointed about us losing. He's been our best player in the last two home games and is far better than people have been making out recently.

Agreed. Can't understand the grief he gets.

He is always average at best. He'd be the first out of the door this summer for me. The ammount of passes he just blasts upfield without looking is a crime. Let Swansea have him. PLEASE!

"They always play lovely football and that would suit me down to the ground".

Could be interpreted as a dig at Blackwell's preferred style of play? A surprising comment considering Quinny is Blackwell's pet, favourite son, first name on the team sheet etc...

I would be gutted if Quinn left, by far our most creative midfielder and does get stuck when he needs to.

I cannot understand the boo's he gets, if anyone in our midfield gets them it should be Monty.

I would say this is nothing in comparison with the amount of times he manages to get the ball under control, look around and notice that none of his team mates are making themselves available for the pass or trying to make space. Quinn in a team with one or two intelligent players would be awesome, as it is, in my opinion, he's still our most valuable central midfielder.

can't be the same player.. are there two of them?.. if quinn leaves i'm off out to get pissed in celebration

Quinn's replacement would be unlikely to be anywhere near as good.
Some fans don't seem to have heard the tone of Blackwell's recent comments.

Quinn has proved in the past what a good player he is, including at PL level. There would be no shortage of takers for him.

He has struggled until quite recently, but I defy any player to consistently shine amidst the horrendous turnover of playing staff we have seen this season.

Perhaps we should offer him to prospective purchasers on an installment basis: Along the lines of
£1m for his left foot and 50p for his right :D

Or perhaps we should concentrate on signing players in areas where we need them rather than selling probably the best central midfielder we have and creating another gap.
