That's because they had a deal with Ford to provide cars for them so all the 'good guys' cars were Fords and the villains often had Jags and the like. It may have changed at some point as there were several series.More a Sweeney man myself, the Granade always seemed to catch the Jag in the opening credits![]()

Or one of the Mitchell brothers.I seem to have read that somewhere. I think the bad guy in Die Another Day drove a Jag too. I quite like Jags to be fair so maybe that makes me Dick Dastardly or something![]()

Congratulations to the lads. Must be very proud...I'd just like to be the first to say ''gerrit forred'
That was because Ford still owned both Aston Martin and Jaguar at the time Die Another Day, so Bond had a Vanquish and the baddie drove an XK8. I thought back in the 60's Jags were cars that were driven by spivs and criminals? Plus they used to suffer from serious tin worm. Rover was the luxury brand back then.I seem to have read that somewhere. I think the bad guy in Die Another Day drove a Jag too. Added to that, I seem to remember whenever there was a Bank Job, the villans had Transits?

A company destroyed by government interference, chronic mismanagement and militant unions, along with Triumph.Have you seen the Rovers now? Dear God![]()

It was a Fiat Multipla. We can blame Renault for many things, but not that monstrosity.Oh I agree, just that the Rovers I see now in the Garage across from Morrisons are truly ugly, I'm talking Renault Multipla territory.
at the time a Transit van was faster than the standard cop car ie Moggy 1000.. the villains have Jags as they were cheap to wreckI seem to have read that somewhere. To be fair, being dead would make you move quicker than a Moggy 1000at the time a Transit van was faster than the standard cop car ie Moggy 1000.. the villains have Jags as they were cheap to wreck
Recently signed a pro contractI would like to know what the situation is with Ramsdale. I don't know the in and outs of kids contracts but I hope they've got him tied on a deal or is this another case of a player who can be poached by the Premiership for peanuts?
Since the sales of Walker and Naughton I don't think the academy has been as successful as people think it has been or it should have been. Take away Lowton and Maguire then it hasn't produced in the way that people would have hoped it would.
Long has been average, still got a lot of scope to improve though, but then you get to the rest, McFadzean, Kennedy, Ironside, Whitehouse etc and a lot of them despite being highly rated will not make grade or haven't already made the grade, Diego De Girolamo was our last highly rated youngster to come through but through a multiple of different reasons hasn't made it, primarily attitude and injury.
I hope this current crop of youngsters get the breaks they need and come through to become as successful as we want them to be, but I also have concerns that SUFC at the minute isn't a conductive environment to the development of young players
