CONFIRMED Max Lowe joins Forest on loan

We can’t , Hecky confirmed that and when he states that we only got 16 players available for this weekend, none of our left backs are performing well this season and a loaned player is staring for one our play off competitors , you’ve got to feel is a misjudgment.
 

Club is a shambles at the minute.

I know, let's strengthen a playoff rival in the run to the finish line, by giving them an in-form player in a position where we're lacking 🙄

Could have recalled him...but we decided that Rhys Not-Enough Davies and Enda The Road Stevens are good enough for us 🤷
 
We have stated that if he were to come back another of our left backs, I.e. Enda or RWD would have to go out. This could be two fold, either in the knowledge that he would not get a game or finances dictate that we cannot afford three left backs ( four with Osborn)
makes sense to leave him where he is if our management are confident that he us no better than the two we have, whilst there he is in the shop window and getting valuable game time.
 
Anyone been watching the Forrest game? Just put it on and seen Max have an effort on goal after a neat run in behind.

Maybe he is now that he is older and has more matchday experience

I watched it all,have to say Leicester were a mess and Forest were rampant,deserved the win.

Lowe was oreyt but not as outstanding as Spence on the right side,Wilder must be nuts to have left him there for the rest of the season.

Seen forest a number of times on the Box when they are on it they are very very good
Today being a prime example the lad Spence is a proper wing back

They've got pace throughout the team and are very quick on the counter attack. To stop them you just need to take it through the middle as they're not very good at fighting for second balls or having to play a slower passing game in the middle of the park.

Lowe has been excellent for them and I'm hoping we retain him in the summer as he's far better than washed up, has been Enda and RND. Lowe down the left and Bogle down the right is an exciting prospect. We just need some pace up front and in central midfield.

Lowe isn’t that good and he hasn’t been excellent not according to some forest fans I know.
RND improves with every game

Not sure it’s fair to judge him on last season. From memory he wasn’t given much of a run in the team and when he did play he had Robinson or Ampadu alongside him at LCB, which was hardly ideal for the lad. I don’t think he was any worse than Enda and I would have preferred for him to have been ushered out. It’s been 24 months since he’s shown any form, he’s older and on a bigger contract.

Very frustrating that we are strengthening the starting 11 of an immediate rival although I’m not sure how easy it is to cancel a loan half way through. Finances and contractual issues dictate - when Olsen left us recently we had to agree to cancel his loan. If a similar arrangement is in place with forest, they would clearly not agree to return him. Middlesbrough are in a similar situation having loaned Spence to Forest, who supposed to be having an excellent season.

Forest seem to be relying heavily on loan players. First goal scorer today is Danish guy on loan, Lowe as LMF and Spence up front. Not sure if they were playing any others but take those 3 out and they struggle I think. By all accounts Lowe was getting rave reviews earlier in season then got injured. We have managed without MGW and Davies for last few weeks. So maybe not so reliant on players we don’t own.

Davis is now the main man up front with Grabban being out for 2 months ,which I think works in their favour.
Forest will fade away.

💯 agree about Enda I’m personally fed up of watching go through the motions with his deputy dog expression
 
Lowe never got a chance with us. Hecky seems to have the knack of getting the best out of players. Brewster, Bogle, Ndaiye. Would like to see him have the chance to work with Lowe. Maybe we get rid of Enda and go with RND and Lowe at LWB?
 
My mate is a Forest fan, I text him last night and he said "there's something special happening at Forest, I just hope no one takes the manager off us".

My response was along the lines of "you might go up, then it will all turn to shit and you'll end up back where you belong with a load of expensive shite and no money left, with the manager on his bike for embarrassing himself in the PL". He didn't text back.
