I'm sure CW gives the team, individual players, etc absolute rollockings when needed (Hull away a couple of seasons being a prime example).

Haha, if you think I spit my dummy out if somebody criticises the club you’ve got the wrong Gray pal. I’ll rant as much as anyone if it’s due. My point was that you were having a pop at others for ‘sugar coating’ the JL situation when you and others have no idea what Wilder’s plans are yet. Why would you ‘spit your dummy out’ over something that’s not happened yet? I don’t rate JL but I’ll trust Wilder and Knill to get it right. IF he selects JL when it matters and he costs us I’ll be off on a rant with you but surely we’ve not got to that stage yet have we?
 

My concern is whether Lundstram is having a detrimental effect on the form of Ollie Norwood. He’s so key for us, need to get the best out of him and Fleck to make the team tick.

We have the group who say to just trust in Wilder. No matter what. Anyone that doesn’t is an utter utter twat.

Yeah, the best people can offer is him chopping down Greasy Grealish as the highlight of his career so far. Which says it all.

I wasn’t there mate. I watched the game and yes he was poor, TBF a few were. I’m no fan of JL mate, my biggest criticism of him is that he doesn’t seem to maintain his concentration. Like I’ve already said though I just think it’s too early to rant over it, he could just be bit part at best when it matters, whatever we think we see so will the coaching team and Wilder has proved time and again how ruthless he is. Put it this way, if he’s already had £43m to spend, would he really end up with JL as a first team regular? Can’t see it myself hence why I’m prepared to wait and see.

We can only use history to help predict the future,
History shows that Wilder often tried stuff and experimented.
Often it works but sometimes he DOES get things wrong, his tactics have been wrong and his signings have been poor.

However you do have to give Wilder credit....that unlike the stubborn Clough and Adkins.....when Wilder gets thinks wrong he changes it.
When he gets a signing wrong he stops playing them and tries to move them on.

Common sense suggests that he has tactical roles in mind for several players when playing PL teams.
I suppose the big question is will he still use the overlapping centre back tactic or will he go more for parking the bus and counter attacking?
I’m giving them all a chance and resisting passing judgement until we’ve played a few games at PL level.

I remember “old 50p foot” Montgomery being poor in the Championship and was confident he’d be a disaster in the PL
but must admit he won me over in the PL because although he was still technically poor his tenacity and work rate stopped the superior opposition.

Pretty obvious.....**** are people from the Mongolia region....so as it’s close to China they have a slight mix raced Chinese look to them.
‘Mongs” was a cruel term used for kids with Down’s syndrome as they also had a slight Chinese Mongolian look....
For older people who have kids or know kids with Down’s syndrome then “Mongoloid” or “****`’ is offensive/ upsetting.
My friend has a kid with Down’s syndrome....so it’s not a word I would ever use....unless I was referring to someone actually from Mongolia.

This ☝🏻. Completely agree, we looked so much better when Morrison / Freeman came on yesterday and we reverted to one in the hole.

There's obviously more behind those results (he was subbed at half time at Reading, at 0-0). It was 2-2 when he went off at Brentford. At Bristol City we conceded a late goal following a corner.

Nevertheless, it's not been a disaster when he's started, and there are reasons for not being too adventurous from the start in our opening game, away at a very fast side that breaks well.

not sure he actually started those games Bergen but his record before that i LLLLL
that is why fans are frightened of him he is becoming a Jonah figure

Sometimes you can tell early that a player isn`t going to be good enough for your team. However, it should be after at least a decent run of games. Hands up those who have seen Lundstram start a dozen games for United. Don`t be too quick to judge him. CW didn`t show him the door this summer.

In a way they weren’t. He hadn’t shown that he’d be the player he’s become. It’s the absolute indignation over Wilder persisting with him that’s funny. It’s like people confuse him with Weir or Adkins.
