It is not Ruben Selles fault that United are 9 points adrift of the play offs with only 12 games left to play. He had 5 games only.
It is Wilders who has had 29 games in charge with the potential to amass 87 points, but failed miserably though his inept tactical knowledge :
ie/
Charlton (weak poor team) x 2
Hull City ( Had not won at home)
Preston ( winning 2.1, lose 3.2)
Wrexham ( winning 3.1, lose 5.3)
Derby ( losing 3.0 at Bramall Lane)

Better get him sacked then and bring Selles back eh

Because posts like this are going to change the past 😊

Get behind the team. We got off to a shocking start, Wilder was brought in to stabilise us at that point, I highly doubt it was in his briefing that he must secure promotion.

The team he inherited was extremely weak in some critical areas. We had no striker capable of scoring, and our CM was getting walked through with embarrassing ease. I think he deserves credit for once again shopping in the bargain basement and pulling out two gems in Bamford and Jairo. Had we not signed those two, we would be in a relegation battle.

Maybe you should be running the club with insight like this, or maybe you've clicked on the wrong club forum.

Replies are looking positive if your only aim in life is to 'get a reaction'.

Question.

If you needed a hammer, drill, electric screwdriver and nail gun for a job.

But had a hammer from a Christmas cracker, a whisk, a manual screwdriver and a stapler instead.

How do you think you'd get on with that job?

I was actually just thinking in the past hour.

Chong and McGuinness are bench or squad players for us right now. And cost us quite a bit of money.

Don’t know the stats, and not a wilder fan as such, but he should be judged on 24 or even 20 games

He had to rebuild the moral, team spirit and general vibe of the whole club - that isn’t going to change by walking through the door

You could arguably say judge him from Jan or even next season

Silly (pork) sausage

It is true that if we were even half reasonable in his first 8 games or so we'd be no more than 3 points off 6th now

That was a wasted period points wise

But there was a lot of turning around to do. He was coming into a shitshow, with a radically altered dressing room to the one he left

And we might still be quite fucked had he not signed Riedewald and Bamford

It is, in fact, Ruben Selles’ fault.

If the season had started on Nov 1 we'd be two points off automatic promotion today, and four points off top spot.

But yeah, we should have kept Selles and got relegated.

There’s only one team our friend is getting behind, and they’re currently on -7 points.

It was the owners who listened to the AI Borg Bord who's was a consultant after the PO Final.
Bord adjusted his abacus tell the owners to get rid of Wilder.
Bring in Selle's and players recommended by bord, Selle's tactics were to try and get get united playing like a Europa champions league team in the god damn chuffing championship, the owners dropped a massive bollock listening to that twat Bord.
They admitted that they did make a mistake.
What though is unforgivable is a new manager coming in and not understanding the club, the city the club is based in or the fan base.
When you go for a new job somewhere else, you do your goddam ferking research.
The city, the firm and most importantly the people you are working for.
If you have worked at a firm for a long time and new owners come in, if they don't talk to you, then you make sure you talk to them and advise them.
Seen it too many times with firms I have worked for, new owners and managers come in and ferk things up.
Twice though the opposite has happened, new owners went and talked to staff and contractors, they listened, those firms went from strength to strength.

Jeez, soz, a little bit of a rant and rave there.
Nurse mi braincell has gon'a'wandering again.
