Yep, I am thinking the same. Odd because Clark has looked solid and I still would argue he is a better option than Robbo.
I would normally agree with your good self, problem is Clark has not had any game time for God knows how long.
As such JLT gets the nod from me…..

Was really hoping you were wrong about norrington Davies and to an extent brewster but I guess I was being overly optimistic
But wtf man ? Hamstring injury in October = season over

I didn't expect either of them to be out for the season. I thought they'd be back by now. I predicted, pessimistically, March.

Clark's been on the training videos mate. I think its just the case of not getting in the 18 like Stevens. Basham and Bogle taking the spaces up.

I assumed he was injured as he hasn't featured in the junior games - whereas Coulibaly, Osula and Stevens have been...
If he is fit - I must say, I'm surprised he isn't on our bench.
Clark can cover CB and LCB. When defending a lead, you'd think he'd be a good option to throw on and organise a defence.
Personally, I'd still drop Lowe and put Clark in at LCB, Robinson out to LWB. I think it would really shore us up. That left side of our defence is still our achilles heel.

Good shout that.

Clark's stats even though hasn't played much but when he has featured we have usually won the match.

If the pictures on his Instagram are recent; Jebbison was recently out for dinner in Manchester and wasn’t on crutches or in any sort of boot which is hopefully good news.

Depends on the nature of the injury. In severe cases, the muscle can tear or even separate from the pelvis or shinbone. When this happens, a small piece of bone can be pulled away from the main bone, known as an avulsion fracture. I would suggest RND & Brewster are possibly in that camp.
Wasn't that what happened to Berge?

Enda - was fit, had a slight relapse with his hamstring
Clark - had a back spasm but has trained well for a number of days now and in contention
Osborn - on the mend. He'll recover when he recovers. Building up exercise day by day.
Jebbo - Had a scan. Minor injury. Hopefully involved next week.

Jebbison, what's his situation?

"Doing alright has had a scan and it was an injury that he picked up but it's a minor one, so hopefully we can get him back involved next week at some point"

Ben Osborn?

"He recovers as and when. He has had a nasty accident, so we have had to take all precautions for him and his health. Making sure he's OK. Just been chatting to him and things will be progressing now slowly. I am over the moon with what we have just spoken about, so it's a case of him ticking boxes now and gradually building up exercise day by day"

Stevens and Clark, how close are they to the team?

"Back fit now, Enda's had a slight relapse with his hamstring, which is frustrating for everyone, probably more Enda than anyone else. Ciaran now has a lot of days training, had a little spasm in his back but has been training many consecutive days and looks fit and strong. He's involved and is in there for contention."

You'd assume that's it for Enda then and sadly the last we'll see of him in a Blades shirt.

At his best, he was absolutely fantastic. Sadly, we haven't seen much of that in the last few seasons but he played a big role in our journey to the Prem and in our 9th placed finish.

Sad losing players like this without being able to give them a decent send off.
McGoldrick last season was a big miss too.

You'd also assume we've now quite probably seen the last of Ozzy, another great character. Lacked a bit in technical ability, particularly in advanced areas but a great engine / heart and a top professional.

I don't know what tone Hecky talked about Ozzy's injury. Will have to watch the presser video if there is one.

I would be surprised if Osborn isn't offered a new contract. 28, knows the system well. Can fill in multiple positions. Low wages. I suspect he will be here next season.

He may the option on his contact anyway. A lot of players Wilder signed had the option for another year that could be activated by the club.

Clark and Stevens are taking the piss now with injuries, both of them have not played 15 games all season between them. What a waste of money Clarks been!

Taking the piss by being injured? You almost seem to suggest they got injured on purpose and have stalled their recovery to get out of playing. Ridiculous comments.

To my mind anyone who has played any part in this seasons efforts gets my utmost respect

A lot more than most of those on here who have acted like old lady's after one too many gins every time there has been a bump in the road

In fairness Ciaran is now fit but isn’t getting picked - Stevens however has reached his physical limits and is now at the Enda the line…….
(sorry about that dreadful play on words)

Says a lot about our injury problems that even one of our own fans pulled their hammy at half time doing that competition. 🤦‍♂️

When they came out I said to my mate 'he's got no chance'

Can't help but think he thought fuck this, they'll have finished before I get to halfway line on the way back.

I'd give him 3/10 at best for his feigned injury attempt. That said, hopefully he didn't get any treatment in the ground afterwards. Probably end up with a mobility scooter 😁

Probably booked in for surgery on his hamstring as we speak. That fan will be out for the season now. :D
