I don't know what more communication I would've wanted or expected, but RND just seems to have vanished off the face of the earth...

Heckingbottom said he was pretty close and he wouldn't rule out a return before the end of the season. I doubt it as he hasn't played youth team games. it seems pointless risking him at this stage, especially if we get the job done..

Surely the longest hamstring injuries ever?
Yes we just have to improve on things like this , too many injuries in first place and recovery times need to come down dramatically . Its no good bringing better players in to have them unavailable through injury , it is noticable that the top clubs seem to have their top players fit for selection regularly. I know a large squad will help this as they will be able rest rather than play when doubtful , but we have to get value for money if we aint got much to spend , we need em playing not watching !

We have done brilliantly this season to get promoted in the top two considering the squad injuries we have encountered. Let’s hope we have some of the longer term injuries like Brewster and RND back raring to go in August.

RND was attracting a lot of interest according to media from PL clubs. Maybe if he had been fit we might have lost him last January. As it is we will have him for our PL campaign and hopefully his injuries will be sorted.

My fear for him and Brewster is it could be another JOC situation with innocuous injuries destroying a career, hope not but concerned.

Lowe out with a calf injury
Enda starting against Brum so I assume Bogle is injured?

Hopefully RND and Brewster get back for pre season. Abit of a shame and surprise they've been out so long.

Nothing is a surprise with the injuries we have been having for over a year. I am more surprised we have had the squad mostly fit for the last couple of months bar a handful.

I still think we need to looking at the general conditioning of our players. The injury problems pre the World Cup were ridiculous and bordering on beyond bad luck.

It's worrying and certainly needs addressing in the summer.

You only have to view how old this thread is to see there is something not right.

Ffs.

Further emphasises the need to replace the old guard with some younger, fitter bodies in the Summer, as too many of our younger players are injury prone.

That's a random site that looks like it is written by a twelve year old which is quoting the Star, of all places. Given its sources Bogle's probably already had the surgery, recovered and is back to full fitness.

Bogle set for more surgery

Impressive work by them to totally ignore its a dislocated thumb for Bogle that may need surgery.

"Bogle missed last night’s visit to Huddersfield Town with a dislocated thumb, which Bramall Lane’s medical department are yet to decide requires surgery to heal properly."

I'd say the innocuous injury to Lowe is more of a worry.

It's back 🤣🙄 Has they been any updates I've missed on the following?

RND
Bogle
Baldock
Coulibaly
Slimane
Brewster
Jebbison

Jebbo was training with the squad in the videos I think. Not sure he is injured. Was he on standby the other week for the England U21's?

The lack of Bogle and Baldock is a concern though.
