Glad you know the answer.Simple. He’s not an arrogant gobshite.
I know you've recently outed yourself as a liar, but, fucking hell haha.Thank you Ivo for being the best goalkeeper we've had since Henderson, and you might even be better than him. Your relentless dedication to the Sheff Utd badge always endeared you to me, and your top notch saves nearly kept us in Premier League. Your backline never did you any favours, but you were outstanding. You also proudly represented Croatia internationally, and represented clubs in the Champions League with honor and class.
Thank you, Mr. Grbic.
Lie? About Grbic? Never.I know you've recently outed yourself as a liar, but, fucking hell haha.
I love the fact that a goalkeeper coach has got the blame for picking Grbic. I can just imagine him saying ' oh there is this guy on the bench at Madrid who could do us a job for a few million. There is a kid at Rotherham but hes a lot less' Maybe United world scouted him and the keeper coach saw some videos stuck infront of him.
Anyway after that, I am afraid it is all on Wilder. It would have been quite obvious he was out of his depth from training, nevermind the first few games. He then got a concussion and we put Fods back in. Could have just gone with the quote that we are waiting for him to adapt and then at the end of the season we have kept him out of the papers and flogged him at the end of the season. Wilder chucked Fods under the bus.
That being said, I am happy with Cooper and we move on.
A disastrous signing for all involved, but I felt quite sorry for Grbic.
Despite the fact that he is well paid, and as a professional footballer should be able to handle pressure situations, he walked into a team in the midst of a death spiral, replaced a much better keeper in controversial circumstances, only to become a bag of nerves within 5 minute between the sticks when he saw just how bad the defence in front of him was.
There is no more exposed position on a football pitch than the keeper, and I think he got more than his fair share of blame for some of the goals we conceded. Saying that he really did fucking struggle with some of the basics.
Best for all concerned that he moves on. GLTTL.
Nah most of us now understand. Raya is much better with the ball at his feet essentially. It isn't, most still don't understand why Raya was chosen... and persisted with despite a pretty shocking first 2 or 3 months of his arsenal career.
Fingers crossed he goes has a decent loan spell and we can recoup the money spent, maybe even turn a profit

Likewise I felt quite sorry for him. I've been musing over which is worse:A disastrous signing for all involved, but I felt quite sorry for Grbic.

His debut, currently let 5 goals in, 5-0 after 80 minutes so far.
Let's be fair for a minute, I could think of a few friendlier places where you could make your debut compared to Galatasaray away. They did concede six in the respective fixture last year, so it is technically an improvementWe are not going to get our money back on his lad are we?
Yes some players did mess us about but the prince thinks it is a good idea to let contracts run down for some reason .Wilder chucked Wes under the bus because he wanted a keeper that was going to be with us beyond last season. It's clear when Wilder came back he wanted a number of players to hurry up and sign new contracts. It seems he feels that a few players have messed us about on their contract renewals, I think Wilder thought a fair number of players would renew and save him as much hassle rebuilding the squad.

well he has said he likes the idea of letting contracts run down but i can not see the logic in that . It means we are exposed to clubs nicking our players for peanuts in the last few months of their term . Thankfully i feel he has back tracked on the idea and we have offered a lot of our young, uns better contracts . Also getting cat one states for our academy (if it happens) should also protect us from being robbed hopefully. He doesn't though really, new contract offers have usually been made well before their final year.
Also, while PA has been here a lot of players contracts have had an extra year that we could activate not the player.

He said just once in an interview with SUW that sometimes a player performs better in their final year because they want to earn a new deal. Although in the context of that interview it seemed like he misspoke as it contradicted what he said earlier in the same interview.
Even if that train of thought was true I reckon it would only apply to players of a certain age who are coming to the end of their careers. Who know they may struggle to find a better deal elsewhere.
If you pay 10 to JR you'll find out what Prince REALLY thinks.
Cheers, I was trying to forget him.Back to Grbic, 4 games in and no clean sheets!
It was a bazaar situation! His debut, currently let 5 goals in, 5-0 after 80 minutes so far.
