If you search his name in twitter there's some Rizespor fan sites getting excited with montages, imagine the disappointment

Indeed. But they all had something that great keepers have and Grbic lacked. The reaction speed of a cat. Read, anticipate, react. Even then later on in their careers I think Cech James and DeGea had problems at the near post.Top five clean sheet keepers in the Premier League;
Petr Cech: 6ft 5
David James: 6ft 4
Mark Schwarzer: 6ft 4
David de Gea: 6ft 4
David Seaman: 6ft 4

Agree with all of thatIndeed. But they all had something that great keepers have and Grbic lacked. The reaction speed of a cat. Read, anticipate, react. Even then later on in their careers I think Cech James and DeGea had problems at the near post.
Some have it some don’t. Jamal Blackman had a similar problem. Imposing, but just lacking that speed to get down.
The other thing Grbic lacked was positioning sense. But we have had keepers like that before. George Long and Gobby Ransdale both had a weird tendency to dive after the ball had passed them which generally indicates they hadn’t anticipated and were in the wrong position in the first place. How Ramsdale got to be an England keeper is as much a mystery as Chris Woods in my opinion.

Yes he was a very agitated keeper. In the first half of 2020-21 Ramsdale noticeably had a trigger movement that took him away from the ball just before he dived: he was taking a little hop the wrong way. Walker's goal for Man City at the Lane is a good example of him doing this.
Purely down to being an Arsenal, player wasn’t it. He got found out quickly enough there and I doubt he’ll be troubling the England squad again anytime soon.….. How Ramsdale got to be an England keeper is as much a mystery as Chris Woods in my opinion.
Based upon most comments I've read from arsenal fans that's not true at allPurely down to being an Arsenal, player wasn’t it. He got found out quickly enough there and I doubt he’ll be troubling the England squad again anytime soon.
I was saying Ramsdale should have played for England in Euro 202(1). Because he was immense for us in the second half of the season.Purely down to being an Arsenal, player wasn’t it. He got found out quickly enough there and I doubt he’ll be troubling the England squad again anytime soon.
2 more years of him on our books
Then that’s none of his faultThe statistics say he conceded more than one goal PER GAME than he should have, which is quite frankly ridiculous and means he must be statistically the worst player to ever play for us.
Most would agree we'd have struggled to stay up if we were allowed to play two keepers, but if Grbic had saved one more goal per game, we'd have accumulated 8 more points during his stint between the sticks. We'd have been 3 points from safety with 5 games to go. We'd have at least given it a go and the run-in would have been very interesting. It's not even beyond the realms of possibility that with that bit of momentum and the crowd back on side, we might have taken it down to the wire.
Disaster signing.
What about Wes? Conceded nearly 80 goals last season, including some horrific mistakes. Cant just pin it all on Grbic and make him the scapegoat. Wes was wank as well. The statistics say he conceded more than one goal PER GAME than he should have, which is quite frankly ridiculous and means he must be statistically the worst player to ever play for us.

Technically you're probably right as his would be nearer 4 goals per game, but 45 minutes is probably too small of a sample size to count, so I'm sticking with t'old Ivo.Lee Baxter?
It isn't, most still don't understand why Raya was chosen... and persisted with despite a pretty shocking first 2 or 3 months of his arsenal career.Based upon most comments I've read from arsenal fans that's not true at all
Definitely the process to recruit was flawed. Then that’s none of his fault
It’s the fkin buffoons who put him in there in the first place
Yet more shite mismanagement
