I can almost make a case for BBC Wales moving our game. It's shit but I can see some logic for it.


There's some non televised games moving to 6pm on a Saturday night. That's where I really struggle!

i was looking at home ties in early rounds. i think we could break crewe record & with what 200 travelling from Cardiff. maybe 5,000 Thursday 7pm

We are the only game on that day. The FA originally advertised that 'games will be played between Friday 10th to Monday 13th January'.

And 7pm!? Fans of both sides will struggle to get there for that time mid-week. i know a lot of ours struggle for 7:45 games after work

All day to get there, no looking at the time during the lap of honour ( c @Sunderland ) to ensure I get the last decent train to Leeds, an earlier train to Leeds, and a train home from Leeds, saving me the cost of a taxi, all finished off with a proper pensioners bed time.

We need to break it and then some to get people through the turnstiles for this one.

1000 points, which will only activate if the ticket is used on the turnstile, and I reckon we’d get a decent attendance for it if we did something like this.

Not particularly fair that though is it on people who actually can't attend. Say someone who's been to Bristol city, boro, going to millwall, Cardiff, Swansea, but happens to be away for the cup game and gets less points for all those games put together.

Definitely not. As Blademan18891889 says, the points are to reward loyalty and should be awarded to reflect that.

I couldn't disagree more with you thinking that 1000 loyalty points for a home game is OK, when some away games give 50 points. 20x as many point
