We do need Wolves to improve a bit and Zenga to keep his job to minimise the risk. It would be a bit unfair if they did sack him because although they've backed him, he's hardly chose the players who've signed and they've loaded him with a big squad full of expensive players of multiple nationalities and no doubt there are plenty of egos knocking around. They've got at least 6 players who'd always expect to be in the matchday squad missing out altogether. Not the easiest situation to control.

These are their fixtures up until January. I'd say they're quite hard unfortunately - especially the next 7.

29.10.2016 ENG LCh Blackburn Rovers - Wolverhampton
05.11.2016 ENG LCh Wolverhampton - Derby County
19.11.2016 ENG LCh Preston NE - Wolverhampton
26.11.2016 ENG LCh Wolverhampton - Sheffield Wed
03.12.2016 ENG LCh QPR - Wolverhampton
10.12.2016 ENG LCh Wolverhampton - Fulham FC
13.12.2016 ENG LCh Cardiff City - Wolverhampton
17.12.2016 ENG LCh Nottingham F. - Wolverhampton
26.12.2016 ENG LCh Wolverhampton - Bristol City
31.12.2016 ENG LCh Wolverhampton - QPR

Sadly not, we have to try and sign him permantely in January and if it's not possible we need a replacement lined up. It's highly likely he'll be recalled now
I wouldn't go as far as 'highly likely' but it does change things.

For the last time* they can't recall him until at least January. Only youth loans allow a recall outside a transfer window.

*Not the last time; I can guarantee that :-/ .

It's not hard to see why the club implodes from positions of virtual success

A few wins ,hopes are up and then ...panic stations all because we might lose a loan player

Going to be a nerve jangle this season I suspect

If they go for Piggy Pearson we're fucked.

Why the fuck do people think EEL will be recalled he got a lot of improving to do just to just to get to Championship level but if he keeps listening to his Uncle Jake he'll get there.
Dont think he will be top of the next Wolves managers agenda.

Same reason as people thought McCuntly would smash L1 because he scored a few for Pompey.

Don't tell me to stop panicking. Let's see who's panicking when they Take Wilder and EEL whilst McCabe runs deep into the Pennines with a sack of compensation and we finish 7th.

Fucking idiots.

Pile all those players on top of him and expect immediate success, and if not sack him after 14 games.

I think it's unlikely that they'll recall EEL but it does change things and it isn't helpful. Hopefully they'll appoint another foreigner.

Jeez, Look what happened the last time us, the fans, got obsessed with a defender. Payed 2 million for him , got injured, and was crap since. There are other centre half's in this world. What will be will be.

WOLVES KEEP A CLEAN SHEET

0-0 at Preston yesterday.

That's a good start.

I'm not trying to be negative for no reason but his distribution was pretty awful last night. He's a CB, let's hope we can get better cover at RB/RWB to enable him to stay there.

So being negative for some reason then;).
I agree with your thoughts about his position. Boy did we miss Freemans movement last night.
Apparently He so wants to stay till the end of the season at least.

i doubt he'll be here next season but i think he's been unfairly treated by some... a good 'defender' not so great on the ball but i think hes done whats been asked of him this season . thats without mentioning the vital goals he's scored .
if we could get him next year for relitively cheap id take him as back up, he obviously loves it here and he's one of the lads so if
we could get him cheap why would u not want him?

He dodges the obvious question but fair play to the tweet - clearly another who loves the fans and the club. It all seemed to change for the worse when he signed his extension at Wolves, which perplexed me at the time but maybe he'll go back into their team next season. I'd be up for us signing him at the right price but there are also decent defenders that I reckon would do an equally decent job too. Webster possibly at Millwall.

Why would Wolves give him a new contract and pay him a signing on fee just to then sell him on the cheap six months later?

Why would a club that already holds your contract pay you a signing on fee? His contribution this season has been vital but he has also cost us in games with big time errors, which led to wright and basham stepping up and isnt first choice for wilder so he wont be back unless we can get him in the 300-400k bracket and I never had the feeling he wants to leave his home town club so he might not want it next season as he wasnt 1st choice on his departure. Webster or Burn for me or jags in my dreams lol
