I know. We're fighting over getting Mcburnie as 2nd choice while they have Ross Stewart as 4th.
Aside from a keeper, they've got a really impressive squad. Hard to imagine they'll not go back up with a half decent manager.

I don’t necessarily disagree r666, but it’s hard to get that winning mentality back, it won’t just turn around with a flick of a switch, they’ll need the right management and tactics just like you say and the personnel to carry out those instructions after a disastrous season, not all the players are still there obviously but they’ll still be feeling it as a club, it’s now how they react. The Championship is a very tough league to get out of.

I think they'll be fine. A lot of their key players were out on loan elsewhere (Charles, Edwards, etc.) and they have one of the best coaches in the league in Still. Fully expect them to get top 2 - their squad is miles ahead of ours.

We’ll see how both teams get on in time MOJC, I don’t think we’ll be as far behind Southampton as some are suggesting.

I think when they scoring they'll be as dominant as last time they went up. They have a fair few questionable foreign players but a really solid base of domestic players as well. They're just light-years ahead of most other teams.

We managed it after a horrendous pounding in the PL we soon found our winning ways in the Championship. Just more evidence that that GAP really has grown beyond bridging given the current spending allowances.

I’m not saying it can’t be done B56, I’m saying it doesn’t happen overnight or without hard work, Saints have a long way to go before they “walk” the league.
