Outgoing? Bogle

Even as an initial payment we won't have lost out on Bogle.
I reckon we would get around £6-8m for him with a possible 2 or 3 more depending on success and appearences.

Didn't Bogle used to play as a winger? A position we are saldy lacking in. Same applies to Burke who would proberbly do a better job down the flank.
both would be better suited to a 442 system which i very much doubt we will play i think one will go probably burke

Curious how much Norwich would bid.

He is on a similar trajectory to Aarons but perhaps 6 months to a year behind in terms of experience and development. Not outlandish given he is 6 months younger.

Say they did get 20m from Spurs for Aarons who seem to be interested once more.

How much would they bid for Bogle? Anything like 6m as an opening bid and they're taking the piss if they get 20m for Aarons.

If they got 20m for Aarons then I'd be wanting 15m for Bogle or 12m with substantial add ons. What you get for one can't be ignored when evaluating the market value of the other.

Let's say 15m for Bogle or 12m if they take Max Lowe as well 😂

If they took Lowe as well I'd piggy back him to Norwich 😂

I’d heard he wants away, if so just get as much as possible, must have initially valued him at £6m ish, thanks to us he has premier league experience. Serious offers only

Not doubting what you say but could you confirm where you have heard that he wants away

Maybe there has been a misunderstanding and in fact he 'wants to get his end away'.

Fair enough if so, he's only a young man.

His real name is Jayden B. Ogle

It appears that in keeping with a lot of players his agent wants the move as that is the only time they make real money other than their retainer.
I used to know a number of agents the best would be those who cared for their client in very much the same way that your IFA would as he would only make money on the bid offer spread when you change funds.
Players, like investors should look at the reasons why their agent wants them to move as we all know those that move from club to club and never improve their status are on similar salaries and only succeed in earning their agents money

In that case he can go. He's behind Baldock anyway. I doubt we'll get much more than our money back for him. Make a bit of a profit and slap a hefty sell-on on.

started brightly but towards the end of the season thought he looked a little disinterested but surely got to be 10m minimum

I certainly doubt Bogle will be anywhere near the top of Utd's list of assets to be sold in order to make up the loss of revenue next season. He's young, shown a good deal of promise at Prem level, would be able to fit into several different formations at both full back and wing back and will only further improve and increase in value.

The only things likely to persuade Utd to sell are (i) a decision that it's not worth keeping both Baldock and Bogle (if so, I'd expect Baldock to be sold of the two) or (ii) Utd receive an offer too good to turn down.

Not sure where that rumour emanated from. It may well have an element of truth to it (or be a ploy by his representative/s to engineer a salary increase or even a move) but according to his dad (Clifford) as of 2 weeks ago, he's settled and enjoying life with the Blades.

Happy to hear that, he looked like he was enjoying his football last season. I'll tell my source to stop talking bollocks!

As much as I wouldn't want to see him leave, I can't see where he gets a game ahead of Baldock and perhaps he knows that if the murmurs of him wanting to leave are true.

It's a shame because I think he can be as good as it not better then GB.

Norwich are known for not being flash with their cash.

So for that reason I say fuck 'em, price them out of a deal.
According to the Norfolk press Bogle isn't on the list of targets should Aarons leave, which I would presume is because we'd ask for more than a set of shoelaces and the NFT to their short-lived sponsor's advertising campaign history. They're doing it on the cheap again.

unless slav sees bogle as being our rm next season having him and george vying for the rb spot cant do us any harm great competition for that spot

I'm confused who this £10-20 million player Bogle is?

We have a lad called Bogle who is a reserve right wingback. He scored a few goals but I can't remember him being particularly creative going forward or putting a lot of great crosses in. I do remember him being dire in the air, poor in the tackle, sloppy at marking, often out of position and genuinely quite weak.

What you say is true he has major deficiencies to his game but he’s very much the modern wingback. Also Lewis went for 16 million after a dire season in the prem with Norwich. I think he’s probably worth a touch less than Lewis due to having less prem exposure but he’s better going forward than Lewis.
