Roger Sherwood, that takes me back. When I had long hair and a beard in the mid 70's, went to Roger Sherwood and had a perm, then shaved my beard off. Nobody in my local pub recognised me and I got called Shirley Temple til it grew out 😅. Maybe that's why I'm as bald as a coot now 🤔☹️.
Probably so but not much explanation towards the latter part 🤔
After reading it again, apologies, my bad.
You had typed coot 😉😆

He can't have been that good as he was then on the bench against us, came on, sat too deep between the centre backs, shanked a couple of awful clearances and generally stunk up the place as much as his teammates
Still stinking at the moment
.

He uses ro sit between CBs on loan for us when starting as dm. I always assumed it was wildees Instructions.

He is terrible, dropped right off.
Not good enough as full back and we have better in midfield.
Also half asleep to provide WBA with a v good chance

Do not want him, especially on those wages

Mikey Johnston has absolutely slaughtered him tonight.

His defending has been awful and has only just played his first attacking pass in the 85th min. Very nearly was at fault for a goal if not for his keeper bailing him out. The only thing he's done correctly tonight is countless negative back passes.

Should have been booked in the first half and eventually got booked in the second.

Looks like a player that's either fallen well down the rankings or decided his time with this team is up. Which one is it is the ultimate question.

Jairo has become our key player. He’s not our best individual player but he’s the one that makes us a team. The worry is we don’t have a backup or anyone to rotate in to keep him fresh.

It urgently needs addressing, it’s such a shame about Hamza’s wages as I’d love to see him back at our club. He was probably my favourite player by the end of last season, loved his passion and commitment.

You're bang on.

Riedewald is holding our team together, if he goes down I can't see how we put out a balanced midfield. None of the others have his football IQ or discipline to play that role.

Is he worth £50k a week…..no

I doubt you’ll find anyone that wouldn’t want him back based purely on football ability. The problem is the wages, he’s just not worth anywhere near the money he’s currently being paid.
There are loads of players in exactly this position due to stupid wages being paid

mikey johnston is the winger i wanted us to bring in last season instead of rak-saki far better winger really rate him

Did not watch WBA Leicester game so can’t comment on Hamzas play. However he’s not been playing regularly (as I understand it) so is probably not match fit. I also recall that when he first came to us and moved to RB he was poor but quickly improved.
A lot of people on here have mentioned his wages as being on around £70k pw and his contract runs to Summer 2027. I am sure Leicester would be keen to get him off their wage bill so it’s not beyond the bounds of doing a deal now whereby they say pay him say full amount for 12 months and terminate contract and a new club (us?) gives him a new contract for say 3 years but on a lot less than £70k. Would depend on Hamzas attitude, his agent and some good negotiating.

I didn't watch the match either but, according to FotMob, he was playing left back. If this is true then it's unfair to judge him too harshly when being played out of position?

Hamza is solid cover for most positions we need him for, as he was last season.

That said if he moves I reckon he would prefer to be a starter rather than just cover.

We need cover at right back and centre mid. Getting a player who can do both, is proven quality and experience at this level and also has shown he doesn't show any less commitments and desire if he ultimately ends up on the bench. There are many who can tick those boxes. For the wages, it is a loan. My doubt on this, would.Leicester see any benefit in loaning to a direct rival.
