Just spoke to my mate, who has been at the game. He's seen every single game this season and says that is the worst of the year bar none.

As for the play offs, I think he hit the nail on the head: "All we can hope is that they turn up with their cup heads on."
 
Not been nor listened on radio tonight .. Just picking up on vibe it's been dire

Anyone know what the main issues have been ?? Genuinely interested if any positives ?

Genuinely angry about tonight, it was a spineless performance , cannot think of one player who came out of it with any credit and having to endure the piss taking from Yeovil fans at the end compounded the misery.
The players seemed unsure about coming to the fans at the end but started to ... didn't get very far, I don't want my money back, that would only give them a reason to feel a bit better about themselves.

First time in a while I have not gone to Yeovil, just coundn't get away from Sheffield iin time due to work, and glad I didn't, but fair play to anyone who went. I know you have to follow your team through thick and thin, but even so......

And I think its SHAMEFUL that those fans, who travelled upwards of 375-400 miles in a midweek fixture have the fucking TEMERITY to slag United off just because they couldn't beat the team on the fucking canvas at the foot of the league. I mean, who were these CUNTS who DARED to suggest Sheffield United were in some way as much use as tits on a snake when former non-league shitholes Fleetwood Town came to our BELOVED GROUND and thumbed their johnsons in our BUTTOCKSES whilst pulling a double bicep/rodeo pose for the camera.

Fucking SHAMEFUL. You lot don't love your CLUB. Those players PLAY THEIR fucking HEARTS out for meagre thousands of pounds per week wages whilst you CUNTS moan about parting with about an eighth of your wage to watch them at least TRY to get promoted.

In seriousness, could someone point to me where the fucking clappers are? You know. Those hardy trusty souls who got all bone-hard when we beat Scunny t'other week and imagined cynics like me were in hiding. The ones who continue to ignore the fucking obvious (i.e. the result) for the sake of 'did you go to the game?' The ones who have no fucking answer for how shit this team truly is and how it is being wiltingly propped up by the efforts of three or four players, at a push.

Again - I still pray we get promoted. But there's a growing slice of me that says 'fuck that' because if we do, can anyone see any investment in the squad to stop us being summarily bell-ended from August this year until Clough gets his P45 and McCabe appoints yet another misfiring dud who he fails to back?

Refund for fans? Oh dear. I went to Preston in the cup, we drew. Does that entitle ME to 50% back? Do the club get to charge fans more for a cracking performance at Barnsley? No it doesn't, man the fuck up blades and accept we play badly sometimes.

True enough it's admirable that they turned up in whatever numbers went. But refunds....
 
Are these the same bastards who have lost us a few at home this season. Fuck em! just kidding :)

Maybe we should have sent the players back on the fans coaches. Mix it up a little.

450 mile round trip and it's associated costs. It's not the fact we lost, it's the fact that the players sounded disinterested by the reports. Now that is disrespectful to the people that have paid their hard earned cash to watch them. But it's ok for the players isn't it, they can turn up, swan about half-heartedly and still get paid thousands. If I turned up and couldn't be arsed in my job, I'd be quickly told where to go.

Me too pal, I still have this weird feeling that we will somehow pull something out of the bag and get promoted, against all odds. Large scale re-building of the team if we do though, starting with two PROPER centre halves......

And yet Nick Montgomery ran around like mad for 90 minutes and was hated by most.

I'm pretty sure that whilst Many believe that there was a lack of effort it was most likely just a poor performance. Looking at the players we have they give their all most if not all ganes. So I don't buy this disrespect nonsense.

I'm pretty sure that Yeovil fans having seen their side in the championship last season will have been wondering why the fuck they can perform and get a result tonight against a side in the play off slots, yet they're heading to the fourth div...

Quite logical that all teams can play badly sometimes. Totally illogical and unacceptable that a team with our means can fuck it up, much oftener than sometimes Swiss.
 



Don't want a refund, I pay to watch a football match, not a guaranteed performance.

Wanted a bloody taxi and a curry... Got walking miles back into town for the curry houses to turn us away as "closed for eating in, takeaway only".
